A Companion doll is a human sized doll made of varies materials, the most common being TPE and Silicone. For some of us the more "human" looking dolls have started to take the roles as companion, photographic model and even partners, and for a variety of reasons mentioned below.Companion Dolls are different things to different people. Some people are so lonely that they have resigned to a life alone, or become recluse, maybe they have gone as far as contemplated or tried to commit suicide. Then they discovered a Companion Doll. Some people have had a very rough time with the opposite sex, and have given up trying again. Some people want a friend to call their own, or perhaps a photographic model. Others have created their very own extended family. That last one is interesting because people who have Companion Dolls generally end up buying a second, then a third. If your not careful before you know it, they have a house full of them LOL!
However there is a negative side to Companion Doll ownership. They can very easily replace your desire to form any kind of relationship with real people socially. There are thousands of different people with different stories about their Doll Companions. From all walks of life, men and women of all ages and sizes, religions and professions. In fact I challenge anyone to be able to pick a doll owner out of a crowd every time. You can't because its a misconception that doll owners are any different than most people in society.
