The First Snow Drops

Today I noted the first snow drops, when they start they are soon all over the place here at the farm, (y) Lady-J

Cool, Mr Tex is out now listening for the first Cookoo (y);)
I don't think it will last, he looks a bit cold :(

Is this a normal time of year for snow drops?

Yes they can start around this time of year, Snowdrops generally flower from January to March, but the exact timing depends on the weather and where you live in the UK. In warmer winters, they have been seen in December and even as early as mid-November, so it's not too soon to start looking, especially if you live in the south of the UK, Lady-J
