On the tourist train the passengers enjoy the open air , the open cars are home built from spare Model Power
Coach’s , so book early for weddings 😀

Wow that looks cool Carly! Well I would book early if Bobby ever proposes to me. But I doubt we would fit in the carriage, unless we were miniaturized

Do you have a big layout Carly? With towns and villages

Coco , the layout you see is built on a hollow core door , it has climbed one layer to date , we are building a extension that will rise another 10 inches , then finally reach our fictional Wild West silver mining town , now just a tourist area , it is in N scale

Here is the Durango and Silverton train at “Sifter Sumit”

Please that it was of interest. I run a HOe scale European layout with a mix of what ever locomotives and stock takes my interest.

Hello Dongo, that's great.
There is a lot of sensitivity and passion in a project like this.
I've always been fascinated by something like that.
Great job (y)

Hi , we been making a new loco , it’s based on the White Pass (Alaska) 101’s , it’s a Bachmann tram chassis fitted to a modified Bachmann Fairbanks Morse H14 loco top , it’s not to scale , but is a good look-a-like . Also you will see our narrow gauge open cars …..

In real life the White Pass bought new locos and two 101’s went south to the Durango and Silverton RR.

All we need next is some decals .

That looks like a nice layout. I used to run the N scale trains some years ago, but didn't have any open coaches. Some day I will resurrect the old N scale layout from my childhood, as I still have it in storage. For now we run G gauge outside in the garden. No open coaches yet but we might built some at some point in time.

Hi folks, I've found a series on YouTube called Tracing The Rails.
It traces the railway from Shoreham in Sussex to Horsham, The Steyning Line.

It's very interesting if you are a steam enthusiast and shows old videos, pictures and a historian that talks to folks who worked on the line.

There are only three episodes at the moment, but more will be made.

Cheers Bobby

If I had a garden I would be running G scale!

Near us (25 mile) is Ryedale miniature railway at Gilling N Yorks
It’s a full outdoor layout 3/5/7 inch and members bring their own
Locos to run , the club run to a strict timetable . Following railway
Rules , signaling etc .
It’s a day out for day trippers to watch and enjoy the trains and
Sample the on site coffee shop , but we are not members .
Easter to end September Sundays and B/Holls

Your trains are soo cool, just stopping by to say!

I've an entire room of hobby supplies, more paints than I dare think about and multiple piles of shame of Warhammer.

Hopefully moving back up to North Yorkshire and home soon.

Hi mr phill , we have a new tram , you buy the tram and chassis seperatly , but it is simple to put together , also we now have our trolly bus mobile , for mr dongo it’s a Tomix Greenmover with Tomix chassis (the chassis number is listed on tram info) about £80 , we can’t post video the forum won’t allow .
Also 2 new bus chassis for a new build ,,,, soon 👍

That trolly bus is really cool Carly. They used to have trolly busses like that in the 70s at the south end of the Island that we live on. It was in Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. They were not double decker though but they served as the city busses there for several years.

Yeah your trolley bus looks great Carly. You are a very creative Teddy Babe👍

Changing the topic a little bit. Are you into underground trains too? They used to use them on the Isle of wight, but I think its changed now.

Joe Bin, we have seen the trolleys on an old film by Charles Smiley , a great American railroad photographer , all filmed on 16mm now on YouTube , another we watch is Railfan Depo with
LeAnne .

Mr bobby, we don’t model the underground but do have a new boxed Olympic underground
die-cast toy , we had a Bachmann Underground Ernie but used the chassis in a diesel loco .

Mr dongo, the chassis was a tight fit and a lot of sanding had to be done on both the trolley
And Kato motor , they are cheap from Plaza ideal for scratch building . To days job was
Motorising a London ‘Boris’ Coke a Cola bus . Again the Tomix/Tomytex bus chassis are
Good priced , powered by an easy replaced button cell battery, about 20 min run time .
