This was last Saturday. Because this coming Saturday would be after Halloween, my bestie's son held his annual Halloween party a little early on the 25th. Needless to say, it was a big party with about 70 people.

Well this was the first time I got to meet this many people all at one time. One woman even complimented my blue eyes.

I am curious though, is this what they mean by 'hiding in plain sight?'

I wish I could post some fabulous pics from the party itself, but you know how it is. Someday though. As Wallace would say, "One for the album" :)

That’s a great scene set-up for a Halloween party. And it certainly doesn’t make you awkwardly stand out, Hanna. I’m impressed.

I got tired of standing behind the piano all night at the Halloween party. So decided to have a seat in the breakfast room. It is much more comfortable sitting down.

It was lonely tonight sitting here all alone while my bestie went off to a friend's Halloween party. He did say I could come along if he didn't have to carry me I would have taken him up on his offer but after standing next to the damn piano for a few days without a break, I guess it feels rather good to sit on my butt for a while.

This is me in my 'asylum chair.' Fitting name for Halloween, don't you think?

My bestie did some research on it. It is Late Victorian - Early Edwardian era (1895-1910). Asylum chairs were used for post-surgery, recovery, sanitariums, and long-term care facilities. They were meant to be pushed only and the single rear wheel made the easy to navigate tight corners in narrow hallways.
