She is made by Proudoll. It would appear to be an Amazon exclusive. They have 1/3, 1/4, and 1/6th BJDs. She is gorgeous and she doesn't have those teary, almost crying looking eyes that far too many BJDs have and I don't care for. But the most amazing thing is the quality of her clothes and accessories. Unfortunately though, it looks like Carla (or at least my version) has been discontinued.

My bestie yearns for a Smart Doll but that's a little beyond his budget right now.

I've never heard of Proudoll. I just spent some time browsing and it looks like they have a good selection of different body styles and clothing available for them. The make up looks really well done too and to be honest, the one I'm looking at wouldn't look out of place amongst the Smart Dolls and Dollfie Dreams I have.
