Okay, I kinda just made that up, but traditions gotta start someplace, right? 😊 It took me ever so long to find this outfit. Wife girl has a funny way of sorting clothes. I think it's called. "Just throw everything in a big pile until Mr Franz complains" 😊 hee, hee, hee
Well, no casual clothes today. Everybody got dressed up coz it was the 8th day of Ashtami. (That's Krishna's birthday) We have a Mandir in our backyard and us Hindu girls help with the veneration. 🛕
In the morning Priya got the flowers ready.
Later Jhipri opened the doors to our Mandir and got everything setup for this evening's Pooja. 🙏
Here's me all dressed up taking fruits and sweets in our Mandir at midnight. (That's when the veneration starts) 🍉🥝🍇🍏
And here's me inside doing my Pooja. 🙏
It was a fun day, but I'm so tired... 😴 It's back to casual clothes tomorrow! Thank goodness... 😇
Very interesting ladies, I've heard of Krishna, but it might not be the same guy .
Bobby saw them many years back, in London, all with bald heads and chanting and playing instruments, walking through the City
They're Hare Krishna's, (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). That's kind of a separate thing. Krishna is a Hindu deity. The 8th avatar of Vishnu. 🕉️
