As long as you keep your love doll clean, hygienic and in good condition, then yes you can practice "safe Sex" with them. Of course they don't have any of the sexual transmitted diseases that organic people possibly have. There is no HIV, or Hepatitis, Gonorrhea or Genital Warts to worry about. All these diseases left untreated can lead to series compilations and cancers. So unless you just have one single partner, a doll can be much safer in the long term. If you have one of these conditions, you can't pass it onto the doll either, but you must clean the doll inside and out after each sexual encounter to help keep them hygienic and free form infection such as mold.Mold is your biggest concern when it comes to TPE dolls. TPE absorbs things it touches, like dirt, creams and oils. Some things don't effect it, some things cause series damage to your doll so you need to read up on products and find solutions that work for you. Water causes moisture and moisture can be a breeding ground for mold. Once you doll is infected with mold, the best that can happen is that it can cause permanent black stains, the worst is that you can't remove the mold without damaging the doll, making using it for sex impossible without the risk of series infection.
So how to avoid this.
If your doll has a built in vagina, or you are using the anus opening you must wash out after sex with water and mixed with a mild soap. You can use the douche to squirt the soapy water into her love holes, letting the water drain out. Repeat several times with clean water. The key is afterwards to dry the love holes properly. I have put info about how to achieve this in another article, but once you have dried as thoroughly as you can with sponges and paper towels etc, then you need to lay your doll down with her legs slightly apart, and either insert something to absorb the damp such as a tampon, or a Diatomite Moisture Absorbing Stick. Some people use air flow to help dry her out, a fish tank pump with a log flexible hose you can insert into her. Leave it running a couple of hours and that should dispel any moisture.
You could use a male or female condom, this will help keep her dry and safe. However you need to make sure that these don't have silicone based lube on them as this could attack and damage your TPE doll. On silicone dolls there isn't a problem.
If you doll has a removable vagina you can clean and dry it away from the rest of the doll, which is much easier.
