Realbotix shows their new Ai voice call feature

In this july 7 2025 podcast the realbotix CEO showed the Ai voice call you can have with the robot:

The only interesting thing he said after the Ai stopped talking in 8:45 is that the price will come down 60-70% in the next 5 years.

I just wonder if this Ai voice call be used in an AI girlfriend-like service? or will it just be used in customer service? realbotix has been working on a costly "companionship Ai' subscription app. The realdollx.ai phone app site went down 1 or 2 months ago, now the link just sends you to "realdoll.com/realdoll-x/", they probably just stopped doing desktop or phone Ais and will focus only on robot Ai's, there is a possibility that this new "august 2025 x-mode upgrade" to the robots that i explained in a past thread will bring a new Ai app, but i believe that it's only gonna be used in customer service calls.

The CEO also said in the podcast that you will get electrocuted if you try to have sex with the robots, i'm just so tired of this "they are not sex robots" talk, it makes me want to buy a Chinese company sex robot, at least they have transparency. At this point he's just trying to scam businesses with the higher prices, so that they waste their money on a moving robot so that they feel like they are in the future but has no use, customers and patients are not gonna prefer them until they can use their legs to walk. I do not trust this guy, i only trust Matt.

For example, in this interview from 4 days ago, the CEO kept saying that the company's focus is not sexual robots anymore, then in 47:24 the interviewer straight up asks him when he could get a robot to replace his wife, and he says 5-10 years but tries to change the topic:


To me this is just a bad strategy, businesses are gonna prefer tesla metallic looking robots than realbotix robots that look like sex dolls, because the metallic ones will make you feel in a more futuristic setting than the doll ones, and they will also be able to walk on their own due to being cheaper to make. If someone knocks the robot to the ground you have no worker anymore, and some women may be uncomfortable working with moving dolls.
