Changes to posting template? where have my smiley faces gone?

OK may I ask advice from anyone with suitable “Nerd IT knowledge” - I mean that very respectfully. I am massively ignorant on all things IT related. Has something changed on the format of the post page? I can post as normal and answer posts but I can’t access any icons as they are all greyed out. It’s very likely that I have stupidly changed something by accident but I tried clicking all the obvious options to no avail - Sad Face (written in words as no icon available)

Have you tried logging out and logging back in?

Is it just with one forum. If so which one and I'll have a look.

Try clicking on the three dots top right hand side on the post task bar, the menu bar drops down then click the on [ ] symbol on the right hand side, the top menu should now turn black and you can use the icons.
