The question is not so much which is best - TPE or silicone - but what do you want to do with your doll?

Photography - silicone
Sleeping, cuddling and kissing - doesn’t really matter
Sex - TPE

I’ve currently got 12 dolls (I used to have more), 4 silicone, 1 STPE, 7 TPE. For sex I definitely get on better with TPE, especially my 2 WM dolls with insert style vagina but I don’t use the insert.
