Nice looking Dolls, I only own plushie dolls due to the weight of TPE and my available space. I have one doll with a TPE head and plushie body and one full plushie made by Valentina Dolls in Sweden

I use no-show socks and ballet shoes on my dolls to protect their feet. Seems to work OK.
When I have to hide my dolls away, if I have visitors to stay, then I have a similar set-up - a walk-in closet and I wrap the girls in a soft blanket to protect them and protect the walls of the closet from getting tpe oil stains.

I don’t use mine for sex (apart from occasionally with my Teddy Babe because it’s easy and quick to clean up the silicone insert, or Jemma (WM 158G STPE) who is in bed with me all the time just so that I have the impression of not being alone at night. Not all doll owners have them for their original intended purpose; many will have them simply because they like to have dolls standing around dressed in different ways, some as companions if they live alone, some because it is therapeutic and they have shown to be really good in certain mental health cases etc.. I know one owner who bought his during Covid because he lived alone and worked from his home office and he wanted to have a sense of somebody else working with him. He dressed her in a business suit, had her standing in his office, and at one point, he said that she had been standing in the same position for over two years. The reasons for owning a doll are many and varied; but still, none of those reasons are valid in the eyes of some people who will generalise and dismiss all doll owners as weird/strange/perverts etc..
I could say something here about some of the sexual preferences in the world today being of no greater validity or importance than Doll ownership, and my own particular feelings, but I’d probably create something of a storm if my words became public knowledge!

out the back … it keeps tailgaters at a safe distance .

I’m not embarrassed to own dolls. It’s just that I I know the responses I will get from some people in today’s society if they know I have them. And the nature of my work means that my employers would not look very favourably upon doll ownership but would immediately dismiss it without listening to the coherent arguments in favour of it. So, until I retire, there is a need for wisdom in how much I share.
But when I retire, I fully intend to have a doll in my car all the time! And I also hope to travel around the country meeting other Doll owners and having mini-meets.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I am. Wouldn't have them if I thought I had to tuck them away all the time. Too much hassle. Just keep mine dressed nice and out and about. Not one negative comment ever from anyone that's seen them.

I'm happily married going on 37 years. My dolls are neither sex toys nor companions. They're dolls and I like dolls. The sexual nature of said dolls, yeah I consider that private, but not the dolls themselves. :)
