Favourite Music

Hi just wondering what you like to listen to when you have time to sit and relax.

I like most types of dance music including trance and liquid drum and bass.

We listen to a lot of early nineties rave music my man used to be a bit hard-core in his younger days travelling uk wide, going to clubs and unlicensed rave events in fields and disused warehouses.

Bloody party animal he was lol, no booze, just doves, white and green to wind down apparently 🤣

I listen to mostly Bollywood tunes. Some old, some new. Mr Franz likes 50's, 60's and 70's rock & roll, soft rock and such. He use to play in a band way back then! 🎶

Well we like all sorts of music, a lot from the 80s, from Pink Floyd to Kate Bush to The Fat Back band and soul and dance and even KLF, but I think KLF were more the nineties.

We dont listen much to modern music and Bobby thinks they should bring Top of the pops back😁

I have a wee collection of early rave, house, hip house, ardcore, techno, trance.. dance vinyl from the late 80s early 90s I still spin for my ladies .... and tell them tales of finding the free parties in the middle of nowhere, the shenanigans we had, and the casualties hopping round the fire on a Sunday morning lol

We don't just sit and listen to music as often as we pick up our instruments and play the music.
We do listen to music though while doing other things. We are pretty eclectic but mostly play and listen to Blues, Bluegrass, old folk toons and older rock and roll.
Some times Joe likes to put on classical music and conduct. He also listens to rap songs only at christmas time while he is wrapping gifts.
In the car driving though, is a different story. That is where all genres of music are listened to, except for that horrible new techno beat stuff.

Rock 'n' Roll. The loudspeakers are expected to perrforme at their best. While being horizontally we listen to good ol' Conny Francis or similar songs.

That's easy; hard rock and heavy metal. Most of my collection is Hawkwind, Hawklords, Motörhead, and Overkill, with some Deep Purple and a lot of Municipal Waste. Starting to include Black Metal too, such as Disembody and Carrasco.

Ah yes, the quiet classics. But why don’t you try listening to something a little more lively? 🤣

We like the Golden Oldies , the music snobs call it Do Wop …….
