LilyD has arrived

After a months wait, my Lily has finally arrived.

There are a couple of issues that need addressing, but the supplier tell me they are easy to sort out. The most obvious being I ordered a red head and a blond wig turned up.

None the less, here she is.

I had bought some clothes up front and it looks like some are too big :( I didn't realise how tiny she would be.

I look forward to spending time with her :)

I find buying the right clothes difficult enough even when I have the doll in front of me! She looks very nice,, :)

I was a little worried about how I would get on with Lily but after the first night together I had forgotten how good and comforting it feels to have someone next to you that I can wrap around or can wrap her arm and leg around me.

Tried some other clothes on this morning, shorts are to big again :( but the top fits nicely.

Then she went to get ready for tonights celebrations including a cut a dye.

Just need some shoes to fit her now :)

PS. A wad of tissue in the toe of those shoes will sort out the sizing woes. ;)

Wigs are easy to get on Amazon.
Measure her now so you can buy clothes to fit, check comments because they often state if an item is large or small for its stated size..
And beware dark colours. ruined many a nice doll.

I have the same sizing problem with Setsuna. By measuring her and looking up size by dimensions, she's a xs, extra small, is the closest clothing size.
For shoots, what I do is use safety pins to collect the excess material behind her for tops. Her tail is big enough to gather skirts and dress material. BTW, she can't wear pants of shorts due to her tail.

I use clothes pegs at the back of the clothing to tighten it for photographs

I've been away this week but it was good to see Lily waiting for me when I came through the door, even though I still jumped when I first saw her.
