Basic Rules on Warnings and Bans
As the website grows, there will be times when the admins need to enforce site rules and address unacceptable behaviour. We’re all human — mistakes happen, and sometimes things go too far. The admins are unpaid volunteers with no formal training, and we don’t see ourselves as above anyone else. Our role is simply to keep the site running smoothly and fairly for everyone.
No single admin can permanently ban a member on their own. All bans are a group decision,
except in cases of spam, which result in an immediate ban.
Bans may be
temporary, long-term, or permanent, depending on the situation.
While banned:
- Do not contact other members or involve them in the situation.
- Do not create a new account under a different name. Doing so will result in a permanent IP ban.
Banned members (“outcasts”) still have more privileges than guests:
- You may delete your own posts and images.
- You may not delete threads you started.
Please remember that being banned from a forum isn’t the end of the world. If you wait out your ban, you may be invited back by email once it ends.
In extreme cases, accounts may be deleted. Your posts and threads will remain, but your username may be changed to something like
“Member Left”.
Finally, if a member (or doll) is banned, their entire family is usually banned as well.
