Man, whatever happened to metal bumpers? I remember backing into a brick wall with my first car. Took 2 days to repair the wall. Took 15 minutes to get the white paint off my hardened steel chrome bumper with a bit of rubbing compound.

Car came out of a side road and clipped me, caused lots of damage. At least plastic bumpers are cheaper than the chrome one, but have you seen the wheel?
