I got the Lusandy Sophie with weight reduction, she is gorgeous doll very well made and very light for a 165cm.. also got soft body, implanted hair and moveable jaw, though open mouth looks wee bit daft.

There was a few posts with photos on TDF a while ago, seems the issue was around the transition between the hard and soft Silicone around the ankle area.

Hmmm 🤔, I was thinking of getting a silicone doll with standing feet, but I’m not so certain now.

I thought the same thing- it does seem like Lusandy are trying to improve it though…… That particular issue seems unique to them (Lusandy) which is odd as I understand Lusandy are made by XT - or in the XT factory so you would expect it to affect XT dolls too…. I haven’t seen that exact issue or any feet looking like that on any other doll…. There do seem to be plenty of Silicone dolls that don’t have any problems with their feet, with the possible exception of the visible join line between hard and soft silicone in the ankle area.

I'm pretty good about not getting too many dolls. Always had lots of minis, but there was nearly a 15 year gap between my 1st full size doll and my 2nd. Another 3 or 4 years before my 3rd. That was my 1st plush doll and when I fell off the wagon! I ended up with 4 more plush ladies within a 2 year period. Been fighting the urge to get even more ever since! 🙂

I don't really know much about Lusandy dolls, so I asked the photographer of the Naomi photo about his dolls feet (he's a friend on another forum) he said his doll had the original softer feet, he stands her 99% of the time, you don't see the deformation when she's wearing footwear, he's like me, he doesn't have his dolls standing with bare feet, it's not recommended anyway; He's had no issues with his doll feet in regards of damage and for a photoshoot girl that is very good. He also mentioned Lusandy had since made the feet harder and also repositioned the foot plates so it doesn't squish like in the picture on TDF.
