Dressing a Love Doll can be a daunting experience for new owners, trying to dress and undress what is essentially, over 30kgs of dead weight. There are techniques to make life so much easier though and in the video below I'll show you some of mine. It is a guide to get you started, and you will via off into your own way of doing things in time, but if they help you get started then the video was worth making.

Lifting

Lifting and moving your doll is one of the hardest things to learn. Many new owners dreams come to a crashing stop when they get their new doll and the weight of her becomes only too real! A heavy doll that you struggle to move becomes a obstacle you tend to not want to maneuver around! This is why getting the right sized and weight doll is so important.

So, realising the weight of these love dolls, to dress one is not as easy as you might imagine at first! You need a technique. Here's mine...

Dressing

Start with the easiest option. If your doll is wearing trousers or a skirt, that is the easiest clothing to change or remove. Stand your doll against a wall...

..unzip any zippers and buttons and pull the garment down to her knees.

Then lift the doll onto a bed with her legs hanging over the edge so you can finish removing the garment. If you are replacing with another garment that only goes to waist level, put it on over her feet (you may find it easier to tilt the feet forward to aid getting garment on and off), then slide as high as you can preferable past her knees.

You'll find all this easier if she is wearing tights, or like Kim a full body stocking.

For shorts or a light skirt you can lift her by the legs so her bum is clear of the bed, and pull the garment up the rest of the way. If they are more difficult like tight trousers (or a long dress), then you need to stand your doll up against the wall again to finish pulling the garment up. That's the bottom half sorted.

For the top I generally have her stood, if the garment goes over her head I tend to remove the head completely. It makes it so much easier, and there is less chance of damaging eyelashes, straining the neck or tangling hair etc.

To remove a garment, pull the dolls arms out in front of her (like a zombie), then pull garment up under her arms, over the top of her breasts as you want to make the garment as loose as possible fr the next bit. Gently left it over her neck from the back. There could be oil and grease near the metal screw shaft that goes down into the neck, so try and lift garment well above it to keep it clean.

Once over the neck you can pull the garment down the length of her out stretched arms. To protect fingers I advise good quality socks over her hands before you start and even then take care pulling garment over her hands. Those are a vulnerable part of her and as you can see with Kim, so easy to break as a new doll owner.

Reverse to put another top garment back on. Guide hands through sleeves on both arms, slide up and then over the neck and down her back. I know I made that sound easy, it does get easier as you get more experienced, but some tighter garments can be.... difficult!

Long dresses might have to change the technique a little but be careful how high you lift the dolls arms, as strain can be put on the TPE/Silicon under the armpits if you lift her arms too high. Some people have experienced rips in the flesh in that area of their precious doll.

Dolls, where the head is permanently attached, you will have to bend the dolls head as forward as far as you can without straining her too much to get garment on and off. Some tighter garments might not be possible to get on.

Putting on shirts and jackets, stand doll frontwards against wall with her back towards you. Turn her head to help protect those eye lashes etc. I have used my sofa to stand willow for this shot.

Yea Kims fingers started to break on week 2, no matter how careful I was with her. Just sitting her on couch with her hands either side to steady her position broke fingers, or pulled the wires out of the wrists anyway. You can break them by moving her about, by dressing, taking pictures and positioning her hands in poses, or standing against a wall using her hands to hold her position did brake some.

Yea, Kimber dolls are fantastic for the price, I have no complaints but for their hands.... They all suffer this way.

Thats why I'm splashing out yet another £1.5K for a new body, just to solve her hand problem. But it'll be worth it to see her holding things and using her hands again. And now I have much more experience help preserve the new doll hands.... hopefully!

Her poor hands! You weren't joking!

The wrists, hands and fingers are a definite weak area. I would urge anybody who uses the "hold and pull" method with garment sleeves to take great care not to put ANY strain on those joints whatsoever (it's easy to do without realising) or you WILL be looking at this kind of damage over time. It's a learning curve for us all, but especially for first time dol...

I Once Owned A "Teenish-Early 20's" Doll {21yr According To The Seller. Lol - It Was From China }

Soo; allow me to explain, a bit easier. ok

i order from Aliexpress or Alibaba you from the Chinese markets ?? well anywho. her measurements were : 34B Cup (USA Bra). her height was 5'4 (162.56 -or whatever Siri says it is. Lol ). Standing Feet (they were NOT the best imo). medium-dark tan skin (I'm attracted to S.E.A. Hispanic Women IRL. especially Caramel Tones, Mocha Tones. but also IRL i've had many Many relationships with women = Hispanic mostly who had a Southern European "Yellowish | Tannish | Melon Tone Hue's" to their skin tone) sorry i went a bit Bipolar there. guess its time for my meds. lol - kidding. kidding j/k'n

her skin was TPE Material. Not Silicon. Uuggh. kinda big mistake on my part. but she was pretty straight forward easy to disrobe, dress up overall. which i found this to be a great relief for me. soo i just wanted to add my personal experiences to this thread and say. I Agree. Hands, Limbs you need to be careful of. I learned this...kinda of the hard way. fortunately; there was no accidents, snags, snagging. tears, rips. thank goodness. whew !!!

-Cheers !

I didn't like the smell of the silicon doll I had, and the sweating was really annoying, having to powder all the time when photographing!

I prefer silicone dolls over TPE dolls these days, there are pros and cons with both materials and also advantages and disadvantages with the softness level selected within a chosen material.

The doll manufactures want to sell dolls, they listen to the calls of the majority of their perspective customers who are shouting out the loudest, their calls for softness and gel implants in every god damn place that one can dream of, is not the best for everyone. The softer blends of silicone do seem to sweat oil in the same way some TPE dolls do, I don't order silicone dolls with gel implants anywhere except their boobies, the dolls that I have with implanted butts spend their days while i'm at work making bum prints on the wall, and they also look god damn awful when they are sat for a photo and their butt is squidged out another two inches either side. When my orders go into Irontech they are not making bedroom girls, they are making photo models, other than the gel boobies which are standard and no option to change, the rest of the options usually have the words, firm, hard or tight, next to them. I find the firmer dolls do not require the endless powdering between every photoshoot and they don't sweat oil so much, if at all.
