Has anyone here had much experience with those hybrid dolls??

Has anyone here had experience with those dolls that have a hard silicone head on a TPE body?
I have been seriously looking at one that I am smitten with at Sex Doll Queen. However, I am not sure about the idea of handling the two different Materials on the same doll. So far I have been washing my hands between touching my TPE dolls and Silicone dolls. I suppose that might be a bit extreme but I have just been trying to be cautious of posable results of cross contamination.
They do have the option to customize the doll to a TPE head, but I think the hybrid maybe already in stock ready to ship.

If anyone has any information about silicone/TPE doll hybrids, feel free to share it here as well.

From what I understand, these dolls typically use a harder silicone for the head, and it doesn’t interact much with the TPE at the neck joint where the two connect. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be much point in calling them hybrids.

There are members here who own these, so they may be able to share their experiences.

My main girl's the other way round: silicone body with a TPE head. The body's very durable, while the head's very kissable.
I haven't had any problems with the TPE and silicone reacting with each other. But they're only connected during playtime, for storage they're kept separate.

If you’re really worried about some sort of chemical reaction you can always add a thin plastic membrane between head and body using cling film or similar, this used to be quite common in the early days of dolls when the materials weren’t so good. I doubt there would be any problems with the better quality brands.

I have an XY Doll that has a hard silicone head with a TPE body. I've had no problems with her. I was told the materials are formulated so they don't react with each other. There is a gap between the edge of the head and neck wide enough to get my fingers in and I often wondered if that was to stop them coming into contact with each other.

I've not put the silicone head on any of the other TPE bodies I have, only the body she arrived with. I will also wash my hands after handling silicone before I touch any of my TPE dolls, nothing extreme about it. It's a simple way of protecting something that I care about and that cost me a lot.

Thanks Guys for the good advice. I am still on the fence of what head to choose though. If I do get the doll, I would want to leave her head on 24/7 and I also like the fact that TPE heads are better kissers. At the same time, I like that the hard silicone heads are easier to keep clean and may be more detailed.

I have not tried a hybrid doll but I think one issue that can be visually detrimental is that there can be a distinct difference is skin tone between the head and the body. Maybe not so noticeable in physical but definitely when taking photos.

That is what I am afraid of.

Most of the reported issues with incompatibility are with the older technology and even then mostly with poorer quality materials which tended to sweat oils.
I don’t think you can go far wrong if you stick to reputable manufacturers and ideally go for a hybrid combination from the same manufacturer where the body and head are designed and intended to be together.
If you’re thinking of ordering a new hybrid doll it’s worthwhile checking compatibility directly with the manufacturer if you’re concerned.
If you’re just referring to mixing and matching between various unknown bodies and heads of unknown origin then yes there will always be an element of risk, in which case you can always tentatively put the 2 materials in contact for a small area and closely monitor the area to see what happens- then gradually increase the exposure time until you are confident nothing bad is happening or otherwise.
