One day I will do what I intended to do, instead of getting distracted by my dolls. I was meant to be putting up backdrops and arranging lighting, so I chucked Giselle in the corner...

Ya, most of them do that. I had a nice name picked out for my Kimber Doll until she arrived. She kept insisting her name is Julia, so I considered myself corrected.

Putting baby in the corner just causes you more work and costs money.

A pearl necklace shows up well in photos, and would likely look good with that dress.

I really thought taking her out of the corner and putting her on a display stand was the safe and sensible option. I thought I would try another outfit so I removed the white dress and went to the cupboard to get another one. As I did I heard a crashing sound, the display stand had topped sideways onto one of my lights.

The light was in three pieces but I managed to fix that too!

The final alignment looks good until you pull the boob over, then my error can be seen. As this has been a successful repair I will have to live with the fault I can't see. So lesson - check things before you leave them to set. Or might I have made things worse? Hopefully I will never get to find out!

Oh darn it, that crash is not what you want to hear, ever!
