Bargain Dolls.

People are often looking for a cheap starter doll. Nianta currently have a promotion to “clear older stock” of their SLE models to make way for latest designs . I have no personal knowledge of Nianta other than nearly ordering one a couple of months ago. but maybe worth a look for $199. Which is obviously crazy cheap. Well Nianta Doll is a legitimate company that specialises in high-end silicone dolls. I understand they have developed their own very realistic brand of silicone recently, so they might well be selling off some of their older models quite cheaply. On the other hand, I can’t help wondering whether this is actually a fake company that’s hijacked their advertising. Wiser minds than mine on this subject could probably enlighten us further?

Yes I thought it was too cheap to be genuine but they are promoting it on TDF so I doubt they would risk they TDF membership by inappropriate behaviour and presumably anyone buying would also be protected by the TDF membership ( whatever thats actually worth) at least one guy on there has ordered one for imminent delivery. Maybe worth noting that when I became fixated on a particular Nianta model I established a dialogue with them but it was really hard going to determine their statistics accurately. They kept changing things like their claimed weight and pricing structure so every time I thought I had finalised my order when I checked it something had changed and I needed to revise it. This went on for a while until I got fed up and decided to order through one of their verified vendors. Things were looking OK initially but after a short time the vendor very apologetically said they were having similar problems and so could not supply. I got the impression from Niantas rep that they had a large stock of dolls which were either made by or for another company and intended for an Asian market. This might explain the reduced price. Also I believe Nianta price very low anyway but when you add fairly std “extras” the price shoots up. As an example my upgrade to a ROS head ADDED over £500 . As I understand it the heads on the discounted dolls are a “manikin” type head as used for hairdressing and make up practice- so won’t be soft at all, very pretty though……

That’s a version of the one I was trying to order a few months ago,! But without the milk spray ( which is just a bladder in her boobs that you can fill and squeeze out) Her weight , size and price changed every time I asked them a question!

Oh okay, well at least we both have good taste😆

If she was available for the promotion I would have ordered her…😄

Just out of interest can you buy just a torso body and attach any TPE head you want to it. Im not skilled in torso ladies, although ive met a couple of lovely ones😆

Yes sure, apart from a very few models with seamless necks. Torsos are supplied exactly the same as ordering a full doll. You can select a particular head from the options when you place an order. Or you can usually order just a torso without head but the better quality suppliers usually discount the head if ordered with the torso so there’s often not much of a saving without the head. Some basic low budget torsos don’t have head options or head connection threads- these don’t really seem like dolls as such though - they are more like just toys…….

Interesting stuff. From the TDF thread, sounds like they are trying to get rid of some factory stock that's been in a warehouse for a long time. But with courier fees, it's almost like they are giving them away for a loss. Maybe the cost of disposing/recycling them is so high, they decided, better make $0 from them ($199 - $199 cost of shipping).

I doubt the options on the site would make any difference, because they are already built dolls, not like you can change the options after they are built.

There's one I quite like but her LHP is terrible and the body sculpt looks very basic. Also, these are likely to be heavy dolls (the weight in the ads is highly likely to be wrong).

My personal feeling is that this would be $199 wasted. Better to save the $199 and spend on something I really want. But as a first doll, maybe worth a punt 🍻

I assume that is US dollars but still a good deal even though our Canadian dollar is worth much less. If I ordered one though it would cost much more than that price for the import charges into Canada. Therefor if the price includes all that like the website says it does, they would really be in the hole.

I take it they would weigh less than a full size doll and be easier to dress and move around? Im just thinking about something for the future, when i have a job and decent money coming in😃

Yes that’s right, like for like a torso version of a full doll will naturally always be lighter. As with all dolls though there are lots of variations, gel areas, different materials,weight reduction foam cores etc all things that change the weight. Of course not having full legs makes the easier to dress too. Even a relatively light realistically proportioned torso doll is going to come as a bit of a shock and feel heavy after your plushies!
Also the actual material makes a big difference to how easy they are to handle, the more softer and squishy they are the more difficult it is to get a good grip without risk of damage. Lyn and Lydia are good examples as they are similar weights buy Lydia is much easier to manoeuvre as she’s silicone so firmer and easier to get a positive hold.
I think your taste is similar to mine - I.e. on the curvy side, unfortunately for us dolls don’t generally get chubbier without getting heavier. There are a couple of BBW torso dolls available at the moment that I really fancy but I would never dare buy them as they are around 50kg and soft with it. My back aches just thinking about it!

Just a curious thing I noticed, according to Nianta that torso weighs more than the doll I ordered. I found I had a coupon so went back and all the $199 dolls are gone.

That doesn’t surprise me at all. In my previous aborted correspondence with Nianta their weights and prices changed almost every time I asked a question. The torso I wanted changed weight at least 3 times when I pointed out the differences in photos. They always had some excuse like they had their models confused , the spec had changed without the factory updating info or I was looking at an older photo which had been superseded by some later spec. it seemed like they only had one sales person who could communicate in English and they seemed to only work part time, also he/she seemed to work remotely and have no actual doll knowledge at all - they were just looking at some statistics from the factory which were not very accurate. I think they have previously manufactured for the Asian market and are now trying to sell to the West, it seems they are woefully lacking in being prepared to do that. Their communication was awful That’s why I gave up trying to buy from them in the end. See my other post about it….

If you have a voucher or are trying to buy something else it’s probably still worth asking them direct as they seem to just say anything to get a sale, including reducing prices but weirdly sometimes increasing them. but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s slightly different when you receive it!
Obviously these discounted dolls are cheap for a reason……

I have 2 Torsos they are easy to carry and move around I have a 6YE and a Soulmate - the 6YE is my favourite for certain reasons - the soulmate I liked the smaller perky boobs and of cause you can switch the heads all standard fittings - I am very limited on space for a full sized doll but if was allowed a much smaller in size it could of worked or and much lighter

A recent update says these are now sold out for America but still stock available for Europe ( although it’s not clear if that includes availability to the UK) as of course we’re not in Europe anymore

Correction, we're not in the EU anymore, but we are still very much in Europe. Europe is forever, the EU will come and go like the wind.

Oh right sorry yes, I was more referring to the way it might affect anyone looking to buy one of these discounted Niantas from their European stock ,, just in case there were some extra import charges or similar involved.
