One warm day, I realised with some horror that real tears were streaming
down Akira’s cheeks.
It dawned on me that even my best excuses wouldn’t work any longer and
that some action had to be taken.
Akira came into my life in 2020. Since then, my intense TLC and some
unexpected adventures have taken their toll.
Her wide-open eyes and a missing eyebrow needed fixing.
I had to take all of my
courage to take her right eyeball out of her head.
The reason for her crying
was now obvious. This Piper-girl had her half-shell eyes mounted on a TPE ball.
Oil was filling the eye socket, widening the eye.
Even though it was the
first time I’d carried out this sort of work, I eventually managed to repair
everything to my liking.
I put her polished eyes
back in, set her on her own feet – and began to stare at her.
This girl had now completely transformed.
The look she gave me sent a shiver down my spine.
Like a modern woman, she seemed to take a deep breath first, before reel
off a long list of complaints and demands. Had my wife returned ???
I’ll find a way to soften her
approach that’s for sure, but our relationship will have to start all over
again from scratch.
