Miss Loopy plays, (I Drive all Night!!) no AI.

Very impressive. I have looked at puppet pin and while I think I can figure out most of this, the part that foxes me is the hair falling off the shoulder!

Yes what we use to do this I'm told is a reverse engineering of the puppet pin, Tim can make it do more and more now, it's close to AI, but still keeping the doll look, you have seen loopy and can see it is her.
Take a look at Loopy's dance video when it comes, you will see the hair is more in tune with puppet pin, and the movement but still very hard to do, think the hair you see here is something new, Lady-J

I'm going to say something unexpected.

Why don't you try using AI?

Yes, I'm 100% with you. I want to see real doll faces, I don't want to see fake faces. But some AI is pretty good at keeping the faces the same. And I imagine puppet pin is very time consuming. If you enjoy puppet pin, keep it up, but if you find it time consuming and maybe you have lots of other stories in your mind that you want to tell, AI has got to be worth a go.

Telling stories is not for me, and my dolls are super beautiful in the real world, I love seeing them with my own eyes, I have no need for AI. But I have used AI (I work in IT, using AI is unavoidable nowadays) and it is very powerful and will only get more powerful.

Well the puppet pin that Tim uses is not the puppet pin you may think, it's a lot more than that.
He has what is needed to rework it, change it and will do most everything he needs, and fast these day's, and we think even better then AI, he can make it do what he wants with no wast, or cost.

AI really could not get off the ground, to make 3 hour movies and how we want them to be, and if AI was used I'm sure they would not be seen, we do it or not at all, that's what Tim would say.

Who would want to see something made by AI and would get it wrong 50% of the time, that has to be paid for.

We can do all we need in house, with no internet, ever being switched on, make the clips as long as we like, add speed the music sounds effects much better this way, cut the frames add them and so on.

No one to say you can't do that sorry. it's like everything we do here it's all in house. Lady-J

Can Bobby use a puppet pin on me Lady J. He only has a mobile, is it complicated?

Yes, i know some of Tim's other production work its really proffesional and very well done👍

The puppet pin is very hard to use, and it wont be what we use or even close, but you can get a simple puppet pin on line, you need a lap top or computer screen big as you can, and fast, look at some videos on line, you will also need a time line, and MP4 to MP3 CV music cutter and more.

What we use has it all but can't get that as it's a redevelopment byTim in house.

You can start by using the pins and moving legs arms and hands, and yes you can make a still move, but what we use is way above that, and it's fast, i don't think it's for you to be honest, it's not easy. but have a look at what's on line,

When in comes to voice lip sink, finger and hair movement don't even go there, on line puppet pin wont do it.

Here is a very simple one, and you can see how Buffy and Coco could be made to move, it's really good when you get into it, and you go on from there, lots of fun.

This type of puppet pin is great for Action Man and the small dolls, as you don't need so many movements, they look like puppets to start with, and you don't have to worry so much about mouth and eyes, they are best to start with.

There is a lot more that is done, like adding video clips, cutting in the right place for the next puppet clip, fast stills, and moving it out up down side to side in and out from left to right, music and over voice, and lip sink, and remember you sill have to make the still, pose dress the dolls.

And now you see why the hair fall caught my attention. The fact that Tim is actually taking the hair up then reversing the action is still beyond the capabilities of the puppet pin I have played with - and I have to pay for it!

Yes that's the trouble with anything on the internet, they rip you off give a bit then take your money.

As said everything is in house here, and don't have to be paid for, we have been many years making Movies and Tim was many years at the BBC so lots of kit we can use, there is no real easy way, AI will come at a high cost and lots of wast as well, Bob
