Poor Jane. The stains will fade with washing, hon. Mild soap and water. With all new clothing, it's best to wash them before you put them on to get the excess dye out.

Mr Tex says, no problem, it will fade. It was the sticky stuff at the top of the hold-ups that did it. He says i will live to wear many more clothes (then something i didn't quite catch about paper bag over my head??).

Anyway i think i will try stockings and a garter belt next time

The solution??

If you have great stockings like that, how are you going to show them off? You have to lift your skirt, or better still, bend over to show them off Jane. That way we can all admire... those stockings even more. Especially if they have bows at the back or suchlike?

Thats good that any stains are fading away, and stockings and suspenders/garter belt are definitely an improvement on hold-ups.

Personally, I love Jane just as she is. However, intrigued to know more about this Miss Startright? Hopefully you two are not going to try and turn Jane into something she's not, just because she's a little different. Different is good and fresh. If we were all the same it would be quite dull.
