Everyday is different and today, after breakfast I saw Kimberley at the computer...

She was really absorbed in a long post she was writing that she didn't notice me.

An idea sprang to mind that made me chuckle under my breath, but still Kim didn't notice...

I tiptoed closer to her...

When I was right behind her...

She span round panting and holding her chest as though her heart was going to pop through!

Holy JaP Rey! she shrieked. Or words to that effect. I actually peed myself.... again

She took a deep breath to compose herself.
You really scared me Rey. I had a horrible incident just a while ago... she basally shook at the thought of it!
Seeing her so hurt... it was no longer fun.

Its, ok little one, don't cry...

Wow this is lovely, let's hug a little longer. I think I need this as much as you little one.

I instantly felt better, until she stood back with a bit of advise...

For goodness sake don't do that to Willow. She could literally kill you before she knows what she did!!!

Willow is like a big silver back gorilla, she roars and beats her chest and threatens with bared teeth, but if you stop been scared of anything she says she just stops, backs up then sits down with a cup of tea. What I'm saying is, she is nothing like the picture you have made of her in your mind. She has had to act tough all her life just to survive, some of it on the streets! Shes not some shielded innocent like Kimberley or Rey. The more scared you act round her, just gives her the confidence to act more tough, even though she is really just a pussy cat. With powerful magic....

OK she is dangerous, but she really isn't an evil person as you think. Now that she is surrounded by people that love her, and aren't going to abandon her when she makes mistakes she's actually calmed down a lot than when she first came. She's really quite sweat. Don't let her fool you otherwise... its just a play act she has been using for gawd only knows how many years to protect herself.

She certainly has a devilish look about her when not smiling!

BTW, I didn't come onto Reys thread until 3 days after she posted it, and there were no comments, so blaming me for it is really unfair. I was just trying to help her by bumping it up. In my own way.

It's not me you ALL need to make it up too, I don't care either way how you treat my threads. She's not like me though. You have to handle a child a little differently and believe me, the way she acts she like a baby at times. Kimberley seems mature compared to that one.

I might as well add my 2 cents to the debate.

My view on replying to threads is that it's totally up to the reader. If you live in the expectation of never getting a reply, then your expectations are never disappointed.

Yes, it is nice to have engagement in your threads, but it's not a given. The key thing is to share things that make you happy, and worry not about the engagement.

I must admit, Mr Green and Mr Karlos, you go above and beyond with your replying to threads. I hope it's not too time consuming for you. And if it starts to feel like a job then you know something is going wrong (this is where I realized World of Warcraft wasn't working for me, it was like a job, every day have to log in and club some baby seals to death to get some gold coin for the latest pair of bestest evar magical underpants.)

Sometimes I'm busy/away/simply can't be arsed. And I reserve the right to be a lazy c^nt!
