Showing dolls to friends

Hi there,

yesterday a bunch of friends visited me. Every few months we meet for a nice evenig, a good meal and long chats. This saturday a few more came and some of them never had seen my girls nor had an idea I have them :) I war curious how the reactions would be.
To make an appropriately positive impression all my girls were clothed and posed. Natalia and Isabella were in the living room for everyone to see. Nobody could possibly pretend they haven't noticed

Some of my guests and my sons know the girls already and I think they were almost as curious about the reactions as I was. The evening started and we sat around the table had fantastic burgers and a vivid discussion and I could see glances going over to the girls.

The interest was obviously piqued and then we talked about them they all complimented how realistic they are and they did not expect a sex doll to be that good looking. Together with my photos on the walls it was clear they are not exlusively for their intended use but more photo models.

Then the question was, if they could touch them, and with a smile I said go ahead. The men were a little hesitant where to touch and how and the gilrs went straight for the boobs and ass to grope and give a feel. I had a good laugh about that.

We talked quite a while about my girls, a little about clothing, make up, prices and also why I have such an uncommon hobby. I admitted that I bought the first
doll for its intended marketed use but soon realized they were so much more and are my beautiful photo models. We also talked about loneliness and why I have no wife. I can stay single without being lonely. I have friends - obviously, contacts at work and no nagging at home and still the beautiful presence of my girls.

We also talked about some of the realtionship issues - I am not the only one and one of the girls had a nasty breakup and could relate to preferring to be alone. Maybe I should have told her that there are also male dolls :) But I think she's too young for that.

All in all it was a great evening with lots of talk, laughter and a lot of positive feedback on my girls. And I am really happy about that.

Well done for that, it's brave to show them off. Yes, at first the impression is always positive, its later when they think about it that the negatives start appearing... just saying from experience. But who cares right, you can't control what other people think good or bad. You know in your own heart how much the girls mean, and that's the important thing. I think the world of mine, more so than anyone else (except wifey and daughter maybe).

Great story and nice to hear; I have a safety engineer coming to check the CO alarm on Wednesday and, as it's an open plan flat, thinking how much I should cover the girls up, given that they're still wearing skimpies and so on :D

I would put dresses or costumes on them personally. Work I know but probably worth it.

Oh, I'll think of something, but undressing and redressing is not an option at this point, as I have them just the way I want them. Carmen is wearing a fairly opaque gown that works best with white lingerie so you can't see what's underneath if it's dark, but I might just throw a fleece over Caz and Kim, leaving just their heads on show. If the engineer is curious, as some people are, then it's safe to show them; anyone who doesn't want to see lacy frillies won't have to.

I can imagine the anticipation of revealing your realistic sex dolls to your friends. It's natural to wonder how they'll react.

When I introduced my dolls to my circle, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. But you know what? It ended up being a positive experience. My friends were curious, asked questions, and even appreciated the craftsmanship.

I remember my first Dollstock at Fin,Fur and Feather. I had Melanie out on the porch, getting pictures of her, then Tabitha. What I didn't know until later, was all the construction guys in the restaurant across the parking lot were watching. When I went in for breakfast, the waitress told me the men were standing at the windows watching. Later on in the day, a couple came into the big common room and asked if we could bring a few 'lovelies' to the bar tonight so they could show their friends.

We didn't fearing something might happen to the dolls, but later on after dinner, guys came and brought their women with them. Basically, the bar came to us. There was plenty of positive reactions and we had a huge party. Even got pictures of 'drunk dolls'.

Your dolls look beautiful and dress up great. I dare not introduce my doll to my friends and family.

90% of friends are fine with it, especially male. But I did have a plumber run from the house when he saw them once, and I lost a friend of 30 years (female) showing them the dolls. So its hit and miss how they may react.

mr track here , my three live downstairs in the living room and fully clothed , friends family and visitors have met/seen , and no snide comments to date , even on the car show field (Teddy Babes don’t seem a threat as do the ‘rubber’ girls , and god forbid in the old days if you were found with a air babe) .

I told one couple who are neighbours about my first doll. They’ve not spoken to me since. I told the electrician who came to my house (they were hidden in a walk-in cupboard at the time) and he thought it was hilarious and fun. Megan photographed the three of them last week and I felt totally relaxed about it with her. Don’t think I’d tell my family though (I live alone but have a huge extended family)

Seeing as I don’t have any real-life friends and - thankfully - never any visitors, I don’t need to worry about my friends ever seeing my dolls 😂.

I had a treadmill delivered by 3 men a few weeks ago (it’s like 100kg) and there were probably 7 dolls in my living room at the time - a Martian, an elf, an alien, a devil, an Indian, Jessica with her K cups, and skinny Normondoll Lily, and they didn’t say a thing. I reckoned they’ve probably seen much worse 😂.

I doubt you could hide all your dolls Mr Dibble, you have sooooooo many!

I had a fourth doll, Isabella. I’d bought her because of the lower weight of 28kg but she was just 148cm tall. I felt quite self-conscious over that and eventually had to pass her on to another UKLDF member who needed a much lighter doll because of issues with his back and who just wanted her for cosplay photos - Marvel, DC comics characters etc..
I’ve now got my eye on a FanReal doll, a WM doll, a Piper doll and, if my budget can afford it when I retire early, a Real Doll.

Yeah, looking back perhaps I should’ve lightened up a bit. She was also much darker tanned than in the advertising photo - very Mediterranean/Latin American, so quite gorgeous in that respect. But you live and learn. I’d quite like version 2.0 of the Piper Ariel Doll 150cm now

I completely agree . I dared to tell only my closest friends 3 of them . They all know I lost my wife to cancer not so long ago . First they all shown sympathy . And now they keeping they distance .
