Interesting. The example shown on the illustration has the roof pod but the finished example appears to be one of the cheaper and nastier version that does not.

Included in the kit is the option to model long/short or no pod , available in front entrance or front and rear . Apart from the entrance door a sheet of transfers/decal’s allows several kits from one moulding.

That looks good Carly, you're a very creative lady. Where I live the routes used to be run by Southdown and London Transport and Tillingbourne and Alder Valley and we had conductors on the bus.

But now most of our routes are run by Metrobus

Yeah those were the days Dongo. They have also replaced a lot of the old bus stations and there was nothing wrong with them!

We have a bus station … not used for some years , bus company got planning permission for new build flats , but all comes to all , to operated they must keep the bus station even if not used , so now the bus drivers park their cars and walk to town clock (1/2mile) where services start/terminate , our area was served by United Automobile with a fleet of Bristols , then with the mid late 70’s the Leyland bus turned up along with National Bus Co. Area is now Arriva

Very cool Carly! Jon has a garden railroad, 1:32 scale. It’s fun modeling a little town.

We liked our bus kit so we got another two , and they don’t break the bank ,
Then we thought if the Blackpool versions are made they will go together
On display with our trams , we know mr dongo loves trams but no pictures
Untill the bus kits are finished 😁

Getting started , we will update as we progress …

Does it come with the paint or do you have to buy that separate, Carly?

I used to like the Soutdown double decker buses, when they had conductors on them😁

Mr bobby , the kit comes with decals/transfers , there is no paint or glue , the instruction sheet gives you the colour numbers for the paint , you buy it from the local model shop . The kit comes under £15 also it gives “some thing to do” rather than just buy ready made for double the price .

I think mr track has a Southdown bus but it’s a die cast one .

Any way today it was time to affix the windows as the paint had dried , also the seating will get painted .

I like those. I was an avid model builder back in the day. No busses though, mostly cars. But alas, neither the eyes nor the hands are what they use to be and I have trouble working with and seeing the tiny pieces. 🙁

Thank you mr franze , the kits are 00 scale 4 Mm to the foot , US HO is 3 1/2 mm to the foot ,
Still small but if you look on the side of the table you can just see the magnifier folded down 😁
Will try to include it in next photo .

Yeah, I saw that. I have one too. Bit smaller than your's though. I use it for some projects. I mostly built 1/25 scale stuff. Way bigger than HO, but even so, I still have trouble making out the smaller pieces these days.

I did re-do a few Barbie cars. They're in-between scale, somewhere between 1/9 and 1/12. Much easier for me to work with. Here's a Barb Beetle I turned into a modern Herbie The Love Bug.

Are those busses for your Railroad layout?

They look good Carly. I went on a Blackpool tram many years ago. I went to see some relatives in Fleetwood that was back when Star Wars first came out😁

I went to see the Blackpool lights
