An excellent Christmas present! The coaches look good. Will the artics take the curves? Do they light up?

All coach’s have lights and 2 rear loco lamps (so far only have 5 , 2 twins and observation) , they take 2nd radius with the add on streamline ends and magnetic couplers then close up on the straights , but the twins run better one way (second radius) due to the way Hornby have centre bogie fitted - unlike the Kato Daylight twins where the centre unit/bogie is ‘clip’ fit they do 1st radius N scale .

Looks very nice Carly. Nice looking layout too.

I like travelling on steam trains. I went on The North Yorkshire Railway many years ago when they opened it all the way to Whitby, lovely journey it was too. Also been on the isle of wight steam railway and the Somerset steam Railway and been to Sheffield Park near Haywards Heath, not far from me

Have you been on the North Yorkshire railway. It's a very picturesque journey and Whitby is great!

Nice. I would love to travel on the Bullet train. I have seen it at the National Railway Museum in York. Or the Orient Express for the whole route. If I had the money of course

Many years ago I once travelled on the genuine Orient Express (not the tourist train) but only from St. Donna to Trieste in Northern Italy - a journey of about 70 miles.
