We don't get Jaffa Cake here, but Mrs. Franz has a friend with relatives in England. Whenever she visits, she brings back other kinds of cookies for us from there. Oh excuse me... biscuits. 🍪

Well Jaffa cakes are kind of different. They have a sponge type base an orangy jelly filling smothered with in dark chocolate on the top of them. They are classed as cakes over here, even though they are found in the biscuit isle. You should get Mr. Franzs friend to bring some back. We even have Jaffa Doughnuts too now😁 similar to Jaffa cakes, but I haven't tried them ( yet ). I like to nibble all round the edges of mine, then bite the chocolate off and then suck off the orange jelly. I'm called the nibbler ( not the riddler ) 🤣🤣🤣

Mcvities are the best brand. Yeah we can get Cookies over here Chance. I think Merryland Cookies are a good brand. I'm not keen on cookies really, unless they are soft ones, although they are not as crunchy as Bobby's bacon rolls🤣🤣

You can't bring meat, produce or seeds without prior clearance, but packaged snacks and treats are usually okay.

Oh... Oh... tell the story about the fruitcake... Never mind, I'll tell it. So Mr Franz and wife girl bring back this fruitcake from Fiji. OMG those things are so... tasty!!! Anyway, anyway, easy squeezy through customs in Los Angeles. Inspected and approved. So they make their way to the domestic terminal to check-in for their flight home. Mr Franz puts their carry-on, the one with the fruitcake in it, on the belt to be scanned. All of a sudden, half of airport security surrounds them! Turns out the x-ray thingy couldn't see through the fruitcake. They thought it was a bomb! 💣:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yeah, well it's funny now. TSA officer said it looked just like a brick of C-4. Funniest part was when he picked up his 2-way to call off the goon squad. *Stand down, it's another damn Fiji fruitcake!" :ROFLMAO:
