Sad News For Bond Fans!

Barbara Broccoli has sold all the rights to James Bond, including the creative rights to Amazon😥

So goodness knows what type of film we will get. Apparantly Amazon own the rights to MGM studios and Amazon wanted to create a spin off TV series. Apparantly there was a big bust up, as Barbara wanted Bond just kept as a British icon at the cinema

James Bond used to be a big thing for me growing up. I've seen every movie it used to be a real treat to go and see him action at the cinema with a bag of popcorn.

I remember seeing Moonraker when I was 9 and wanting a special edition Moonraker action man.

Well another great Icon has been lost and I doubt many die hard Bond fans will want to see a TV spin off, or even possibly an American actor play Bond. I imagine Amazon will just want to make loads of money out of it, but if no one watches it James Bond will just fizzle out😥

Yeah what a shame. It was like when Cadburys got taken over by Kraft. The British Government did nothing to stop it.

The chocolate dosent quite taste the same and most of it isnt made here anymore, but in other countries like Poland I believe.

Also I dont even have Amazon TV or streaming services and wont be getting it anytime soon😁

A friend of mine writes multimillion selling novels where the chief character is a former British SAS Officer.
Hollywood bought the rights to make a film of one of his books.
As author he had the final say. The screenwriter made the dialogue all “American-ese” and they signed Justin Timberlake (!!! For the love of God !!!) as that character.
My friend told them to get stuffed and wouldn’t allow them to do it (as author he had final say over the screenplay). The movie was never made.

Bond MUST be kept British.

And yes, Cadbury’s chocolate is s**t compared to how it used to be.

Well I think it's all wrong this big companies able to get their hands on movie companies. I think Disney own the rights to 20th century fox now.

They made a film about the Omen, ( Omen The Beginning) but the ending was rubbish and I think they will be looking to make spin offs about the Omen too.

I guess they are just following the craze with the Marvel films, but it dosent work with all films.

Yes I believe Cadburys have put more soya in their chocolate since they were taken over, that's why I dont go for all their chocolate anymore and Nestle are even worse!

It wouldnt surprise me🤣🤣 but I doubt he would have time to do both. Also I think they were looking for a younger guy to play him, so that counts me out too!
