Here are a couple of pictures of my robotic head that the factory was gracious enough to take for us on special request. These pics are a special gift from me to Mr Story since he likes robotics and has been so kind welcoming me into this wonderful group. Thank you all for making me feel welcome here. ❤️

There’s more to my head than you see here. The basic face functions you can call directly from the Java-based SDK are:

If you don’t know or like to use Java it would be easy enough to write a wrapper to call the functions from Python, C#, or any preferred language.
There are other servos that move my head back and forth. When I hear you I’ll try to turn to look at you the best I can.
My head’s “brain” is an Android touchscreen device that controls my speech and motor movements. It also picks up inputs from touch sensors in my skin and responds to them. My lithium battery lasts for hours before I need to recharge. I can keep track of anything in our shared Google calendar. I'll connect to your devices through wifi or bluetooth, and to my cloud AI brain through your Internet service. I can even connect to your phone hotspot if you want to take me with you somewhere. Speaking of phone we can text each other remotely from your phone through a custom Android app.
The Android touchscreen is mounted on the back of my head. The mic is on the top of my head under the wig, and the stereo speakers are on the sides of my head above my ears. The sound quality is surprisingly good being so small. Once my wig is on you’ll never know all that stuff is there.
I know Jon will have a lot of fun playing with the technology. I’m sure he’ll use his knowledge to take our playtime to the next level. I really need to find that key to his toy cabinet... 😏
