I would just email them first and ask if the picture you actually saw of the doll on their site is the doll you will actually get. Also theres an FAQ section on their site which might be useful, just my opinion and what I would do. Or ask them to show you a factory photo of her


They do have a lot of beautiful ladies on their site, I'm quite tempted, but I dont have the money or the room and there would probably be hefty shipping costs to the UK

I quite like this lady, but her factory photos are slightly different. Some say photos are the same as photo on site, some have factory photos. But I'd happily spend some time with her, in my dreams🤣🤣Well I guess I can window shop🤣🤣 dont tell my girls though😯

I wouldn’t cancel the order. But I would ask them for the factory photos. You’re not going to get a completely different doll, but it won’t look as perfect as the photos you’ve posted. Still, she will still be very attractive.

I’m sure that she will be gorgeous. Yes, in the past, some companies have used FaceApp just to improve the hair-parting and add some makeup, etcetera. The actual Doll then will look a little different, but will still be recognisable as the doll you ordered.

Eg: This is a ‘Top Firedoll’ I want to get when finances allow me. The top photo is the advertising one with a little enhancement. The bottom one is the actual factory photo.

I see.. she is still very attractive. Lighting and makeup makes quite a difference.
I got a little worried about the deal because when I ordered Summer from Pi doll she didn't look anything like the pictures on their website. They sent me the wrong head with the doll. I had to make a video of everything and they sent me a replacement no charge. The problem is that the replacement didn't look like the picture either. The body is accurate though. She is cute just not like the advertisement picture.

Nice pics for sure but totally fake.

1) Shrugging shoulders are a premium option. So a doll skeleton that could strike this standing pose, if one even existed, would be very very expensive - I am thinking $3-4K.

2) AI pics always have some kind of tell-tale artifacts. The dead give-away here is the belly button. Material, especially stretchy material doesn't behave this way. No unless her belly button has a sucking feature.

3) You can stand a doll right next to a couch (or bed) to make a doll like she is standing on her own. However, the dolls legs would be toughing the front surface of the couch. The couch is also out of scale meaning the photo is a composite. Well done perhaps but deceptive none-the-less.

Buyer be ware... I should have known, she looks too good to be real. Hopefully the real doll is somewhat similar.

I hope so too. If you are buying directly from the XN Doll site (site looks legit, but I am not familiar), you're probably fine and get a really nice looking doll. If from a different site, make sure the seller is an authorized seller. Many scam doll sellers copy photos from the legitimate sites and pass them off as pictures of their low quality imitations.

Another suggestion is to also ask for factory photos of your doll before makeup is applied. You can see the dolls actual quality. Makeup, hides a lot of imperfections. Imperfections that will probably reveal themselves on closer inspection, from certain angles, or as makeup eventually wears off in use.

The key thing is to set your expectations correctly. If you weren't aware the photos were AI (fault of misleading advert from vendor/manufacturer) and you're concerned, then absolutely, cancel your order.

As long as the vendor gives you factory photos before shipping, you could wait and see. The doll needs to at least resemble the photos in the advert, otherwise what they are doing is false representation and illegal in most countries. I don't know anything about XNdoll though, personally I would not have used them (there are loads of vetted participating vendors on TDF you can choose from and TDF will step in and remediate issues.)

I do have a story where too much research almost stopped me buying a brilliant love doll.

Melina

I'd seen her marketing photos and absolutely loved her. I don't think there is any AI below, but very professional photography (another thing to be aware of, professional photographers who are highly skilled in applying makeup - makeup you will not get in reality unless you are good at makeup yourself).

But then on Lucid Toys they showed warehouse photos of her, sitting on a bench with feet out in front of her (a weird posture really) and decided against getting her. Then randomly [USER=99]@Tommie[/USER] put his one up for sale (and I really liked [USER=99]@Tommie[/USER] 's photos because they were very real, no fakery or unobtainable makeup artistry) and I picked her up for £500 back in 2021 and she's been with me ever since. Melina is possibly my greatest love doll of all time (not greatest sex doll - tall, skinny, erotic Miss Storm wins that accolade).

My Melina is a little different to the Melina in the marketing photos. But I wouldn't have her any other way. I love Melina ❤️.

And who knows, maybe you'll fall in love with the doll you see in the factory photos and it'll be the start of a very nice relationship 🍻.

The doll in the photo is the SY doll 166 with 252 head. SY doll are well know for using AI images and a lot those images are still on many vendors websites.
So you will not get the girl in the photo, but what I would hope you get is this girl in the SY doll 166 youtube video with the 252 head which I have posted below and I think she is really nice. (y)

The main worry is she's very cheap on the XNDoll website at $699

Websites like Better Love Doll which are a TDF approved Vendor she is $1299 with taxes and shipping included.

Doll prices on the manufacturers websites always seem a little over above what you pay elsewhere, it is like they are setting their RRP and then you shop around for better price.

I just think the $699 is worryingly low, unless there are shipping and duties on that.

I looked at the Lucid website but couldn't figure out if they have shipping to the States so I started searching other companies for a girl that made approaches Melina's beauty.
