Hope this is the right place to do this. I purchased a doll 3 months ago. Put her together shes gorgeous but she creeps me out. To real looking. I know, why should I complain. Also, I am an older guy and she's just to heavy.
She is a virgin. Never touched her except to assemble and mover her. Can you recommend a place to sell her or some one to buy her. That sentence makes me feel like a pimp. Any information will be extremely appreciated. Thank you all.

Cloud Climax (amongst others) buy pre-loved girls so worth asking them.

Hi Nelix

One of the commonest mistakes people make when buying their first doll is to not take the weight into consideration.
But you can learn techniques in carrying and moving them - the “bridal” position is one, one arm under bent knees, the other under her arms, with an arm of the doll around your neck. Or one arm around the back and under the arms, hugging the doll, the other lifting her in the groin area.
It depends on how much you want to move her and what your intentions are? Will you be dressing her and photographing her, or just have her sitting down with you or lying in bed with you?
My first doll was 38kg and I had the best workout of my life unboxing her and carrying her upstairs. I thought it was a huge mistake getting her, but I learned how to carry her and move her and soon I was really glad that she’d come to me.

If you definitely want to sell her though, there is a sales/wanted thread in the members forum here, but you’ll need to make so many posts on the forum before you’re allowed to do that. If you check with The Storyteller (Admin/Moderator) then he’ll be able to tell you exactly how many posts you need to make first. You’ll find the same on other forums. But these are probably the best places to sell your Doll.
You need to post photographs of her, show any damaged areas and give her statistics and weight. You’ll also need to decide how much you want to charge for her and whether this includes the cost of a courier to collect her, or whether you expect the buyer to arrange a courier or personally collect.
There are other forums you can post her for sale on which will have similar requirements. UKLDF is one, but you’ll need to do it very soon there as they will be closing down at the end of the month. I think you need to make 10 posts there before you’re allowed to sell.

My suggestion would be that you hold off a little while, you never know, she might actually grow on you and you’ll be glad you kept her. That’s what happened with me.
Alternatively, if you do decide to sell her, you might consider getting a plushy Doll - there are quite a number on this forum: Valentina Girls, Teddy Babes, are plushies and they are very light and not as realistic as TPE or Silicone dolls. Look up Buffy, Coco, Chance, Nicole, Lesley etc., etc., and you’ll see the kind of dolls they are.

Hope this all helps. Stick around a little while and have a good look at the forum, it might change your mind.

Ah wow! Too real looking, this is interesting. As a person yet to receive theirs I wonder which doll you bought! CloudClimax from my experience so far have been great and very good with communication, im sure they will help. If not, in my short amount of time here I've seen dolls listed (used) and sold fairly quickly on UKLDF! Best of luck!

Cloud Climax told me that they only buy dolls which they themselves sold initially.

Phil at https://www.the-doll-house.com sometimes buys and sells dolls. You should try him. he is a member ofthis site though not seen him around for ages.

As for the weight and the uncanny valley, these do affect some people when they get their dolls. They see pictures of dolls seemly full of life and personality on sites like this, and sometimes think a more real person is coming. Its a shock to the system when they get a cold plastic doll in a big box.

To make dolls come alive is all done through the owner, you either grow close to the doll and bring her to life, or you go the other way and fear or repel her. Brand new people have no idea what to expect before she is actually there in your home.

The weight is another problem. 30-35KG might not seem a lot, its half the weight of a flesh and blod woman. But when they can't move, its ded weight. You need to develope techiques to move the doll about. You do get used to it, as long as you don't have to carry them up and down stairs all the time. I have had my dolls in many positions to get the photo shoots, all on my own (98% of the time). But it is fun in the end.

Hi Nelix, sorry to here that you are not able to bond with your doll.
It might help to follow the advice that others have already given and give it a little time.
Evan some experienced doll owners have been known to get a doll they cannot bond with, but they usually give it a good try before passing the doll on to someone else.

Welcome to the forum.

Hey,
I had a bit of an adjustment period myself. It only lasted a couple of days though. Every time I noticed Summer, it startled me still. I was like, who is this in my house! I live in the country, fairly isolated so it was a shock. She's lucky I didn't shoot her. On the other hand, it was love at first sight for me. She is even more beautiful in person than her pictures. As for weight, Summer is a mini love doll. 145 cm, 27 kg. Do yourself a favor and give her a chance. Post a picture or two please.

Hi Nelix and welcome to the forum. All I can add is to try some of the carrying and moving techniques other Members have mentioned.

Also give her some time, sometimes it can take a while to get used to having a doll around. Have you given your lady a name? As another Member has suggested maybe just take some simple photos of her, doesn't have to be professional, I'm not great at taking photos.

Those are just my suggestions😁

If it is her weight that is a major factor in you wanting to sell her there is another option. You could keep her head and give her another body, but in a fleece material. There is a company called Valentina Girls that will make a fleece body to fit a TPE head. Obviously this will make her a lot lighter, but she will be very restricted in posing and the photos you could take. But that is a kind of last resort. The body of a Valentina Girl is more fantasy than realistic, and she will also be very soft and cuddly if that's the kind of thing you like.

This is basically what she would look like with your ladies head on her body

Well to some people they might be, Chance, everyone has different viewpoints, but with a view like that who could resist

Resistance is futile, well so the Borg have said🤣🤣
