Saw the aftermath of a collision between a car and a learner driver today. Looks like one car came out of a junction as another was passing. It was the learner driver car that was crushed on the side, the other had a flat nose. Ambulance and police car were on the scene. I don't think anyone was "seriously" hurt.

Just picked up first order from the new MacDonald's today! I was the very first delivery driver to collect LOL! I had to walk halfway down the car park to get the app to register I was there.

Do that a few thousand more times, you might walk off the trash you've just ingested. 😆
Would need to be a few thousand miles to do that! LOL

I can't believe how windy it is today! The wind is deafening as it circles my house, like a demon of the night trying to get in! Kept me up and turning, I've hardly slept at all. My weather app says the wind is at 25mph with 43 mph gusts, which are frequent! My grid carbon app says that wind is 63% of the grid usage at the moment at 30.1GW. 30GB almost peak usage at almost 7am, (a little higher at about 4pm) when everyone is getting up and cooking breakfast!

I am expecting people not to want to come out today, so I should make a lot of pocket money doing deliveries, but it's gonna be hell on earth working in it! Better get my woolly hat on as my cap would just blow away in this storm!

Wish me luck!

A tree fell down across the road in town this morning. The first time I passed I had to go around, when I came the second time the police were there and they had already started to cut the tree up. I haven't needed to go that route again but I assume it would be all cleared now.

We have not had any trees down on the farm, well not as far as I know, but wind is still very high, the power came back about five minutes after I posted, (y) Lady-J

Not to bad really as we can use red, and it will run long time on a tank, the price drops as we by 1000 gal: at a time, to fill two 500 gal: tanks we switch everything on when the gen: is running, and everything off when the power is on Lady-J;)

I bet one of those large wind turbines some farms use would serve you very well, almost no electric bills at all. But the cost of the turbine would be mad!

Yes that would work well here, Timbo made a small one with 12v alt: on top it will spin and has a tail to keep it into the wind, it on a long pole, and will charge 12v batt: it will run lots of LED fload lights out and around the buildings, will try and get a photo when I can, Lady-J

Ive had scooter out half this week on the better days. Even today (Sunday) when weather hasn't been so hot I had bike out. I love how easy it is parking and filtering queue on the roads during busy times. Can't wait for spring....
