Home made doll.

There doesn't seem to be a doll making thread and as this forum is open to anything thought I'd put this here. Me and my new found friend who's really skilled in doll making over on another doll forum have been collaborating on making doll bodies. This is my first attempt at a life sized doll. Weird butt Lol but I guess if I want to make a lizard woman with a tail my rear end pattern is good for that.

As soon as I finished this doll body I was tired and went for a kip with my face nestled in it's bosom. Best sleep I've had for ages. I felt like my body and hers really fit well like a jigsaw it was very comfortable. She is padded a lot though. 3 kg of hollow fibre filling. 😁

I've never made a fabric doll from scratch, but I've done extensive modifications on the ones I get the from Valentina Girls. They sell just the unstuffed blanks. Here's a thread of the last one I did, told from the doll's point of view.

What kind of material is her skin, Dollscience? Is it fleece. I think that's what Valentina girls use, she looks a little like Thea does, my doll has a TPE head and fleece type body with a special connector in the neck so the head fits the body. Maybe take a look at Valentinagirls.com it might give you some ideas
