Chat Evenings

Does anyone want to do a group chat one evening? A few of us, not just 2 :)

Any topics you would like to chat about?

I like this idea a lot. We could use the Discussion section for it.

One person would act as the chairman, setting the topics in advance. Anyone who wants to ask a question would send an icon or request, and the chairman would invite them to speak or post their question.

It could be a relaxed, one-hour session (or so) with around three focused topics related to sex dolls.

The whole session would be private and invite-only, so people can ask anything freely and even upload photos without it being public.

I think this could be a really good, open, and comfortable way to have deeper live discussions.

Is it just for humans?

Do you mean a text chat like Discord or video like Zoom?

Humans and dolls can join. Its just text as the conversations can just do chat and photo uploads. If you want video you will need to use third party software.

Someone else will have to run this too as I am really busy with my main job until the end of July! But there are some capable people here. I will attend the chat if I'm home! I will be available for any questions.

Newbies to the doll world, these kind of events are ideal to ask about choosing and looking after dolls etc.

Yes Coco would be after snacks, probably not wine though🤣🤣

If you mean test it or something, I don't mind helping out if your looking for guinea pig.

I mean do you want to organise the evening, get poeple interested in joining it and set up the conversatio, inviting every one, Then ask the questions etc.

I'd have no idea what I'm doing in regards to how the software works, but I can learn. I don't mind giving it a go.

Date/time and subject would need to be organised, so if folks can drop some suggestions for that and there's enough interest I'm ok with hosting it.

You can add people to the conversation using this "Add" button. A window will pop open where you can add people to the chat. Start typing their name and names will appear until you find who your looking for....The people you add will appear above the buttons. Now when you send messages to each other, everyone gets it.ATM you have to refresh the page yourself to see the messages, but I will look into them appearing instantly. I just need to get this external job I'm on up to date first, to help pay for the updates LOL. I'm way behind schedule atm. Give me a couple days.

Removes yourself. I haven't got a way to remove other yet, But it will come. I imagine it would be a cross on the names at the top. Click it and they are out.

If this chat thing becomes a big thing, i will introduce other things on it too, like multiple windows and things so people can PM each other in the main chat for instance. Lets see how it goes. 

You can invite people from other forums to take part. We could get guests and things like that.

I was thinking I could make a poll with suggested times like week/weekend, afternoon/evening that people could select, although it would be better with actual times in UTC for some of the non UK members. People could reply if they are interested in joining and leave suggestions for topics that could be discussed.

We could discuss the different types of dolls out there and the pros & cons for each type. It might be interesting for any newbies. Also does it have to be about dolls, we could have a discussion about about favourite movies or music, or box sets 

I did try and make a poll in the early days but failed to make it work well. This new AI should be able to do it, but i havn't implimented it yet. Not sure when it will bte done as there are plenty more important jobs to do first. So suggest you just do a thread first until I can get it done in the future.

I agree with this, obviously topics like politics and religion will be banned. I guess anything folks have a shared interest in can be a subject.

I would quite like to join in if I’m able to. Can’t do anything before tomorrow evening though.
