2. Why do people have Love Dolls?

There are many reasons people wish to own Love Dolls, from sex to companionship. Yes, these dolls are anatomically correct in every way and are designed as sex aids. Through the years they have developed from blow up dolls used just for that reason, to amazing works of art to be admired and photographed, (more about this later). That's not to say that every owner use them for sex, in fact those that own multiple dolls seldom use all their dolls for sexual relationships at all. You did hear that right, most doll owners I know have multiple dolls!

So, who in their right mind would buy one?

From my own experience sharing pictures and stories about my girls with others, I can safely say that doll owners come in every shape and size, from young and old, both male and female. The most common reason (one of many, many reasons) is loneliness. This could be because of bereavement, or bad relationships and not wanting to go there again. To higher reasons such as mental health or medical problems in which a companion doll suits them best.

For others it's convenient sex. Then there's the other end of the scale to better photography skills (they make great photographic models), while others still its solely for their amazing powerful presence. You just need to sit or stand one of these Companion Dolls near you as you work or sit in front of the TV, and suddenly it’s like you have another person in the house. You are no longer alone!

One of the things I have found that nearly all owners comment on, it the emotional attachment they develop with their dolls. For some referring to them as dolls is upsetting to them as they see them as human entities to be referred to as She or Him. I refer to my own dolls as She but am using Doll in these articles only as a reference. My bond with my girls is overwhelming at times, it’s like having a real woman living here. Cost about the same if not MORE with how much I spend on clothes etc for them :D

So what’s all the fuss over photography?

As I commented on earlier, these girls have developed into works of art. This it to make them look and feel more and more human both for better sexual encounters and more recently for photography as well. The higher end girls (I mean dolls) have amazing skin detail including veins, moles, and freckles just like a real human. Even their eyes have depth, most can easily be moved to get that emotional realism with photographers in mind! Done to a high level, you can create photos where it can be impossible to see any difference between a doll and a human!

So why do people buy these works of art? What’s your reason?

I retired. I live alone, so I had loads of time on my hands. I finished all my DIY projects around the house, and started feeling bored and lonely.

I live on my state pension, half the government's minimum wage, so I can rarely afford to spend time playing pool or drinking in the pub. Watching TV gets boring too.

I needed a companion. Someone to just be there with me. Divorced twice, lost two houses there, know most of the women in this little town, and have no interest in them, or they in me.

What to do? Then I read about love dolls. Looked into it. Read up all about them and found the retailers online. I was looking through their stock and Bam! She looked back at me and I was smitten. She looked so real! And so very pretty!
But I didn't have the money to buy her. I thought that was that.

Some months later, I discovered that some money was coming my way. Not a huge amount, but it would be enough. And in just a few weeks I shall have her. I'm so excited! I've read everything I can find about taking care of her, and I'm already planning the shopping trip so everything will be ready when she arrives.

Her name is Rose. She's from FunWest and she's absolutely gorgeous. Just wait a while and I'll share some photos with you. I just can't wait to be unalone!

Hi Jedzed, and thanks for your reply. I'm going for the 154cm model, with S-TPE, gel breast, standing feet, shrug and tongue. I feel the larger bodied girls might be overly heavy for no real benefit (and it keeps the price down!) I love her face, that little turn-up at the corners of her mouth is so very sweet and makes all the difference to her look. And those beautiful eyes got me the first time I saw her. I love the shape of her groin too, the taller models just don't look right to me, the V isn't right, and I think an F-cup is just perfect for her. The G is just that tiny bit too much.
I'm sure I'm going to love her to bits and I'm counting the days to her arrival...

Dolls represent a lifelong fascination for me. I grew up with 3 older sisters. Dolls were just a fact of life at our house. One by one my sisters all grew out of dolls, but I never did. I've always had a fertile imagination and whenever I was around their dolls, suddenly I was Gulliver in Lilliput.

My first encounter with life size dolls happened when I was about 4 on a trip to a department store with my mom. We were in the ladies department when I saw them. Beautiful store mannequins elegantly dressed. My little imagination went into hyper-drive and suddenly I was in the midst of real ladies suspended in time. I was in awe. They had to practically drag me out of the store! Never got one, but a mannequin was on my Christmas list every year thereafter.

Actually it wasn't until I was long married and working for myself that I finally got one for my business. I had a small video production company at the time and we needed a female prop for light and camera setup. Back then the only love dolls were inflatables and Real Doll. Well, early air babes left a lot to be desired and RD's were just cost prohibitive, so a mannequin got the nod. Came across a pretty Japanese model on eBay and snatched her up.

Some years later I closed shop and retired. Sold off everything, but Suzy. She came home with me. She was my only full size doll for a number of years, but when TPE lasses came out, I had to have one. That's when Jyoti came along. By this time though, I was getting on in years and her weight proved something of an issue. So, I didn't get another love doll for many years until I discovered plush gals. That was a game changer for me and I soon found myself with 5.

Well, that's my story. I have love dolls simply because I like dolls. :)

I basically got a doll to relieve stress and to help me sleep at night. I'd been made redundant due to my company I worked for going into receivership. I had worked there for almost 19 years. The company was absolutely useless in giving us any consideration or communication and we had to find out most information on the news or radio. Every week it looked liked our jobs could be saved, then it fell through.

I also felt pretty lonely and was on anti depressants to help with the anxiety. I have family, but they had their own issues and concerns.

So I did some research and decided to purchase a big, cuddly ebony girl from Valantina Girls. To be honest I don't normally go for massive boobs, but I thought it would be fun to get her with them.

Well she turned out to be a great investment! When I was feeling low or anxious I would just give her a hug, sometimes for an hour and my stress and anxiety would diminish. She also helped me to sleep at night, just knowing someone was there with me.

Then came Thea, she was originally Jedzeds doll lady, but I took a fancy to her and she kind of took a fancy to me and well in end moved in with me in March this year.

My Ebony girl Coco was quite pleased as sometimes I have to go out for meetings and different things, so they keep each other company, although they do wind each other up at times and complain to me about each other. But at the end of the day they love one another, which is all that matters😁

Well that's my story. For anyone who feels lonely or anxious I would highly reccomend a doll. They can and do make a difference👍 and you can get attached to them and their ways😁

When I first got a doll, I did it because I was curious about them. What struck me was their presence. I even scared myself a couple times, forgetting where they were, and walking by a dark room I swore someone else was in the house! No, it was my doll standing there. I had alot of fun talking about them, going to doll meets and making silly stories about them. I am a writer and I found dolls are a great muse. Looking at a doll, it's like she helps me create characters. In the story DOLL WARS I wrote(a tongue in cheek to Star Wars) , every female character is really a doll I or someone else I know owned. Of course the villain, Darken Stenky is the current owner of a forum I rejected and rebelled from. Man was he pissed when he read that! LOL!. I had copied his personality perfectly.

I also like to take pictures of my lovelies. and yes, I get intimate with them. Sometimes sex, but intimate in other ways to as in cuddled up watching a movie or simply doing small repairs of giving them a long hug. I truly feel terrible if anything happens to a doll. I've taken great pains to not only keep my dolls in the best condition possible, but have also done extensive repairs to dolls that aren't mine.

The covid scare, getting older now and having my wife die, my days of going to doll meets are pretty much over. Got kids and grand kids to worry about. I have gotten a new doll I turned into a favorite anime character of mine, Setsuna! That was a fun but a little difficult project I spend WAY too much money on, but hey, it was fun doing. I'm also satisfied with the result. I do give my dolls personality but they let me know which way to lean doing that. She also has really nice boobies and a butt I can't keep my hands off of. I swear those are hand-magnets.

And yes, modern dolls are truly works of art that should be appreciated.
