New forum is now open to anyone that enjoys dabbling with AI art. It takes both pictures and video files, shows them off in beautiful gallerys, you even have some personal Galleries connected to your posts. Theres a lot more we can do to the website, I just need feedback to make it better and better.

I’ve signed up but I’m feeling rough at the moment with a cold and dreadful cough. So I don’t feel up to going through all my pictures to decide on categories etc..

Of course there is a danger with AI, but i don't belive for a moment they will kill the world just so they can learn more. What are they going to learn if they have killed every thing with bio or chemical weopens. These weopens don't just kill humans, they kill everything. Then the AI has nothing. Its not as selfish or as stupid as us humans.

I would think more of it wanting to guide us rather than destroy us. By that I don't mean death camps and torture or anything, but rather guide us into it's own paths, perhaps out into space itself. A journey i would like to see. But I'd be long dead by the time we get to that point.

It’s the BBC! Surprised they didn’t include how AI becomes gender-fluid and then identifies as a duck-billed platypus!

The. Way we see it is , they have A1 , then the other country get on to it , then the other lot get it , this goes on through out the world each country having their own idea and religion and in the end this new fangled way of living will be no better than to-day , there will all ways be arguing and fighting ☹️

I’ll sort through mine and put some on when I’m feeling better. Been diagnosed with suspected RSV today. I’m told just to rest and keep hydrated, and try to avoid other people as there’s a danger I could get a secondary bacterial infection on top.

As to the new forum, I've got a couple things in the works. Just been busy with the holidays and all.

Ohhhh be careful Jedze. You don't want to mess too much with infections, especially in the lungs. You'll be feeling liquid bubbling in your lungs every breath if it gets bad, speaking from experience.

Talking about the new forum, how do you all feel about something simular for this MLDF. There are a lot of features taken from this forum already. I could join the doll accounts to the member accounts so you can pick who you want to be without even signing in and out all the time! Have the MLDF gallery like the galleries in the AI forum. Picture perfect could be a gallery, list like on the AI forum!

Be fun to try making a forum to the scale of this one!

Yeah, I’m very wheezy now - and I don’t usually get chest problems.

Next thing on AI forum will be a messenger system. A way for members to talk to each other, then all the things assoiated with that, such as being able to turn it on and off for instance. :) This is fun!

Just seen it Mr Franz. I'm sorting out an email system now to let me know when new threads are created. I'm also sorting email so you know when there is a reply too, and an on/off switch to turn it off if you don't want to be bothered with that.

There are help files at the top of the page to help with writing posts and uploading pictures etc. I will be building on them as we go. In the meantime what things did you find confusing as i want the site to be easy to use.

Nothing major, just the usual learning curve when dealing with a new site for the first time. One thing that kind of threw me though, is the pictures appearing first in my post. I was expecting to see them after my intro message. Don't know if there's a way for the user to change the order things appear. Didn't see one.

I do like being able to title each photo though and being able to give details about it. That's a nice touch.

I know it different, but i think it is more suited to be a Gallery first, then a forum second for this type of site. I do allow header text and a description for every picture though, so the images aren't just back to back, but have text between to space them out.

I think people will prefer the pics first, then have any descriptions or messages at the end out of the way LOL. If you notice, if you click on an image in a thread, it opens full screen.

Yeah, I figured that was the rational behind it. Just a matter of getting use to the format. (y)

Personally, I have zero interest in an AI generated art forum (but I did have a quick look and you've done a good job). Yes, there is some cool stuff out there already like - Gencraft: AI art generator, AI photos, AI image variations, and editor - but I have no desire to keep looking at pictures generated from someone inputting a text prompt into an AI and hoping something good comes out the end.

Also, AI uses a lot of CPU cycles, energy and heat in the process, hardly good for the environment. You notice how those climate alarmists (like Bill Gates) have gone quiet (or reversed their position) on net-zero now they see there is money in AI and ever bigger datacentres, requiring ever more energy. AI is fuelling an insatiable appetite for energy. Is this the end of the net-zero grift!?

One thing that might be an idea though. On each post you could say stuff like:

• Source photo (if there was one)
• AI Chatbot used
• Prompt used

That would be useful if someone comes across the AI content and wants to know how they could do it themselves. I think an AI art forum sharing the knowledge on how it was done, might be something different, and not just another AI gallery.

PS I've always thought net zero was a load of b0ll0cks, and AI is proving it. Still, I've always believed in conservation of resources too, I don't believe in waste - I think this is simply a common sense position.

PPS Just realized that gencraft site includes the prompt too 😆.

Yes the prompts are on all my images. Its a badge in the bottom right corner, and when you press it it opens the AI model used and all the promp and seed info etc. Videos have more info such as size of the video, framerate and such. Its just hidden to make the posts look nicer, but if the info is there just click on the meta badge.
