Hanna here with a slightly different kind of post, one that’s green in spirit, rich in tradition, and absolutely charming from top to toe.
You don’t have to be Irish to appreciate the way St. Patrick’s Day brings people together. In Ireland and across the world, March 17th isn’t just a date, it’s a moment to celebrate creativity, community, heritage, and a shared sense of joy. There aren’t any historic stories about dolls lining the streets behind Saint Patrick himself, but that doesn’t mean dolls don’t belong in the festivities!
We do belong on parade floats. We are beautiful. We can compliment Irish lasses, stand or sit beside them, and you don’t even have to buy us lunch after the parade. Unfortunately, society hasn’t quite caught up with our sense of civic pride, or maybe it’s the stigma attached to being a doll. I’d wager that as much as half of us aren’t used as sex dolls at all; we’re photography models, posed, styled, and celebrated because there’s simply no alternative if you want an accurate representation of the human form, clothed or not, to create original art.
For now, though, we dolls will have to be content with celebrating St. Patrick’s Day right here, in public, on this forum. Our hats may be felt, our outfits green and carefully stitched, but our presence is real, and ours to share.
