Well, everyone, I am the one who sent the limo to collect Bobby. As it’s his birthday, I thought I’d invite him to the set of my latest movie shoot before we began filming for the day.
And out of courtesy to Jed, I asked his permission to give Bobby a little birthday kiss as a treat for him on his special day.

Yes I enjoyed it too Lady-J😉 I'm just getting treated to some breakfast now by Cindy a nice American style breakfast with pancakes with maple syrup, bacon and eggs, I dont normally do breakfast but this is very nice

I'm going to meet some of the actors later before heading home😁 apparently the suit is very expensive, so unfortunately I cant keep it. It's part of the wardrobe department. It's made of silk

Well after all the fun yesterday it's back to work today. I let Coco snuggle up to Bobby last night as she was his first Valentina Girl and thought it was only fair.

Bobby has to go to the Jobcentre today and do another workshop, he's not really looking forward to it, and most of the time it never leads to an actual job, but luckily us girls help to keep him sane😁

Anyway I'm on coffee duty again so catch you all laters👍

Hiya, well it's been a bit of a busy one for Bobby today with family matters, but there's nothing to worry about, everything is okay.

Myself and Coco have been watching a Stephen King movie all about a strange mist that develops, but he's home now. I also made dinner tonight which Coco was pleased about and some Easter egg later, yummy chocolate I love it😋😋

Hi guys & Girls, naughty me, I haven't been updating my blog.

Well I enjoyed my day off yesterday and just chilled out and watched some TV

Today was back to work and my Boss was making an ice cream or Gelato cake for a customers Birthday, he's very clever at making cakes and has lots of experience. I would of got Bobby one, but they are quite large and we don't have a lot of space in our fridge or freezer. It wasn't to busy today, but it will build up tomorrow and Sunday.

It's crazy, our local Sainsburys have reduced the Easter Eggs they have left over from like £15 to £5 or lower, so I bought one for Bobby, we should have waited till after Easter. I bet the Supermarkets only pay around £1 an egg in the first place!

Anyway Bobby has been kind enough to share it out between him Coco and myself, Coco is eyeing up the little chocolates it comes with.

Morning all, well its Bobby's Mothers Birthday tomorrow, so he will be wrapping her presents later. It's a bit crazy, his Sister and Nephews and Cocos Birthday are in March and his and his Mothers are in April😁

Well I guess it will be a busy afternoon again, always is at the weekend, unless it rains or snows, well you can never tell with the British weather!

Anyway I'm off to make some drinks, see you all later👍

Well if she had her way, he'd never get out of bed, she'd be cuddling him all day and night🤣🤣

Busy afternoon today, we had a local market in our town so lots of customers came in for ice cream. I think pistachio is one of the favourites and the passion fruit sorbet.

It was Bobby's Mothers Birthday so they went out to wagamamas a posh noodle bar, Bobby said the food wasn't great and it was pretty expensive for what you got.

Anyway he has to be up early tomorrow for his trip to Guilford. For his Restart session

That restart session go's on and on, hope they are paying him well ;) , is there really no jobs at all, it's a poor show when some good Guy like Mr Bobby can't get a job, I feel for him everyday Thea, as he try's really hard, Lady-J(y)

Well his sessions at Restart finish in July, he only gets a year. He put himself forward for Restart as he gets longer with a Job Coach, not just the normal 10 minutes he gets at the Jobcentre. Also he gets the same Job Coach at Restart and has built a rapport with him, hes had about 6/7 Job Coaches in the Jobcentre. Also Restart treat him like a human and he likes it better there.

Apparantly he doesn't have the relevant computer skills to do a lot of jobs, hes done a basic course on computers, but that isn't good enough. Hes even tried to get on an apprenticeship, but doesn't have the skills, which he thinks is ridiculous. He thought that was the whole point of them to learn while you earn. I mean if you were training to be a plumber they wouldnt expect you to have plumbing skills before you started otherwise what's the point.

Hes applied for Tesco, 4/5 times for nights, but they use an external company for a Right To Work in the UK check and he never seems to get contacted about it, they sent it out once and the Jobcentre helped him scan his passport in, but they got it wrong and he never got an interview.

Yeah that was just for filling shelves at night! Hes recently applied to Asda for a Security colleague Job in the next town to him. It doesn't say that he needs an SIA license, like most security jobs, so he's assuming they will train him on site.

Hes looked at part time jobs, but that's not good enough for the Jobcentre, he either needs two part time jobs or a full time 35 hours a week job.

Apparantly it used to be a lot easier to get a job and it wasn't his fault the company he worked for went into receivership. I mean they had been around since the 1930s, but seems no job is safe anymore😞

It sounds like a nightmare Thea dealing with that lot, can he not go and ask at places he knows, tell them he can do the job and is reliable, some like that, Lady-J :(

So sorry that Mr. Bobby is having such a hard time getting a new job.:(
About all I can do for him though besides a virtual hug is cross my fingers.

Oh he has done, Lady-J but he's just told to go online, most of the Managers dont deal with applications anymore and dont even have HR at their stores. It's all done from their head office and online these days.

Most of the small companies have gone from our town now, so no small independent shops due to the high business rates. It's all chain stores. We don't even have any factory's anymore

Here is a idea Bobby, I don't know if it would work, but you can do it from very little out lay, use a low cost card print, you can find them around, add your info, cv, about you, and contect info, hand them out to shops, and anywhere you go and may like to work in, put them in there hand, of who is in charge, here we never took on anyone from a job centre, they came to us, we do have the job centre ring at times, but anyone who ever worked here never came from the job centre, Lady-J

Well unfortunately our high streets are changing. Shops are closing every month and Bobby is not as young as he was. He applied for Sainsburys on nights, they obviously wouldnt admit it, but he thinks they were ageist towards him.

One of the reasons he comes on here a lot is because it keeps his brain active, while looking for a job. He has tried agencies, but most are a con. They advertise jobs that aren't even on their sites just to get people on their books then try to get people to do jobs that they are not even remotely interested in or have no experience in.
