Actually, that may not be a bad idea - seriously.
Go with Bobkins. You’ve got nothing to lose. The Job Centre bureaucracy is slow and unfeeling, right? Well, a life-sized plush doll in the waiting room is the kind of harmless chaos that makes people pay attention. Suddenly, he is not just another file. they will definitely remember him.
It’s simple psychology: mild disruption + humor ...
If I thought it would work I'd try it Hanna😊 but I'd be thrown out at the door. All jobcentres employ security guards now in the UK. Also they are very keen to put folk on sanctions ( put a hold on your benefits ) from a month to six months.
They have threatened me a couple of times with them. They told me yesterday I wasn't doing enough and basically it was down to my CV why I wasn't getting enough interviews, the funny thing is I've had the same CV for the past 6 months and they've never said anything🤭
And my CV has been looked at by specialist employment folk and they have said it's really good. Also it's been put through an algorithm test on a computer to check the wording and layout match what the employer is looking for and it achieved 88%
Also my original CV that Fedcap created is in PDF format only on my laptop and you have to pay to be able to alter it, which I'm not going to do, unless the Jobcentre pay
