We don't have a Toby Carvery anywhere in Canada.
What is there cuisine like ?

Its very nice and reasonably cheap Julia. Its known as a Carvery. You take your plate up and they carve you what meat you want, normally Chicken, ham, beef and something else, then you get a Yorkshire pudding

Then you help yourself to vegetables and gravy and you can keep going up for more vegetables if you want but only the one time for meat I usually get a large plate and pay a bit extra, so I can really fill it up and you get two Yorshires with a big plate 🤣🤣

It's good quality meat😁

Our nearest Toby is about 10 miles away

Cuisine? 🤣

Well, I don't know if I'd go that far. It's food, and edible. I'd go there.

Can't be a real Sunday roast though.

I've family in Canada, don't be offended but can't say I miss the place, not as it is.

Blimey I'd go there every Sunday if we had a Toby! What is a real Sunday roast to you then? I just think its reasonably priced, tastes good and fills you up, I'm not really into all this posh nosh🤣🤣

Morning All,

Just waking up and going to make some coffees. Busy day today for us all. Bobby's at his Nephews 18th and I'm working later and Coco is resting herself, bless her🤣🤣

Yeah its Cocos Birthday on the 28th and I havent got her a gift yet, any ideas????

Astro is right though. It’s not exactly “cuisine”. It’s where you go for tasty, filling, British food that isn’t elaborately cooked. “Comfort food” if you like. My son and I love going there because we just get a really good filling meal.

Well I've ordered takeout tonight for myself and Coco. She fancied a juicy and greasy burger. It's not Macdonalds I found a menu in Bobby's room called ' The Best Burgers ' I'm having a chicken wrap with chips

Bobby isnt hungry, so he can watch us eating, hes had a Nandos😁

It sounds to me like Toby's might be a common British cuisine.
But then what would I know about that. Joe bin comes from I family that mostly shoot, catch and grow there own food.

Yea, us townies have no idea how to shoot, catch, and grow our own food. In an apocalypse, we all die when the food runs out LOL.

I used to go shooting and fishing with my dad. So I’ve learned a few things, mainly about pointing an extremely heavy torch with a massive beam, at farm hedges late at night!

What sort of things do you shoot, not poor little rabbits and birds? I think growing your own food is pretty cool, but we dont even have a proper garden.

Morning all

Well last night was fun, I won't go into details here, but Bobby was worn out last night after myself & Coco had finished with him😉🤣🤣

Hes still asleep, but we know how to wake him up😉 Anyway his Nephews Birthday went well yesterday his big 18th. Apparantly they went to a Shisha lounge and Bobby tried one of those bubble pipe things. He said it was an experience, but he wont try it again.

Well another afternoon at work for me, oh yeah I found a really cool present for Cocos Anniversary/Birthday, after perusing Bobby's laptop. I think she'll like it. Anyway time to wake the Boss up🤣🤣

This was a very long time ago. My dad used to go shooting rabbits on my uncles’ farms.

Oh yes it's my Anniversary soon, a whole yeah living with Bobby! I cant believe I've put up with him for this long🤣🤣🤣

No Bobby's okay, he has his little habits and treats us well, and to be fair I dont think many guys would put up with me, but i love him and wouldnt want to be anywhere else😉

Yes those plus larger animals. Joe doesn't do much killing anymore but some family members still do. He used to make drums with the animal hides, but is more into guitar making now. When he was growing up they lived on the beach through every summer so any seafood that was caught or gathered was the staple food.

Well morning, we woke up early this morning as Bobby has to go for his visit to Guildford. I don't know what the attraction is really, but he says he has to see a job coach up there on a restart programme or something.

Apparantly it has some nice Ruined castle and gardens to visit on a nice day and there is a river that runs through it. Oh yes the Cathedral was used in the first Omen film back in the late 70s.

Well I'm off to work this afternoon. The job is going well and I was left in charge over the lunchtime period so my bosses could have their lunch yesterday and I think I managed quite well, except the hot chocolate machine broke down, but it's being fixed today.

I'm also getting used to life here with Bobby and Coco. We've sorted sleeping arrangements out and we both sleep with Bobby, in a single bed, believe it or not🤣🤣 the only annoying thing is my wig keeps falling off in the night. It's like it's trying to escape or run away🤣🤣🤣 a bit embarrassing, but it's a learning curve I guess. Anyway better go and get the coffees!

What I started doing during the night when i used to sleep with a doll, was take the wig off and put on a wooly hat instead. It saved the wig from been damaged and stayed on during the night. Another thing was to dress her in a onsie and use the hood at night.

However, these days I use a huge pillow to hug instead just to keep the dolls in better condition.

Well I dont think the wooly hat would be to glamorous🤣🤣 but the onesie might work. I think it's funny, a little embarrassing though😁

Well we are almost at the end of March already! Its Cocos Anniversary or Birthday on the 28th I believe and she wants me to bake her a cake, I bet you can guess what sort🤣🤣

Next month I believe its Bobby's Birthday and Easter, so many things to buy for, well at least I've got a little part time job and Bobby never asks for any rent or money. He says he's just pleased to have us both here and I guess we do take care of him😉

Well I think it might be another slow one at work today, but I'm sure I'll keep busy😁

Morning All,

A little later this morning as we had a lie in, well myself and Coco did. Bobby met up with his Sister and was helping her with her shopping. I'm just getting up, but Coco is still out for the count😁

It's my day off today, and I'm just chilling out. Might go out later and I might get Bobby to myself tonight and tomorrow if Coco visits her friend Buffy using her Kinky Boots😁
