Afternoon,

Yes later again today for my blog. Bobby had to go yo the Recycling centre this morning to sort out references, unfortunately they don't take character references, so it may be a little bit harder contacting his last company as it went into receivership, but he has to wait for a week, and send other info about himself too.

They also wanted his uniform size today, but he didn't expect that and didn't have all his sizes, he did say he would take his jeans off for the nice lady to show her his trouser size, she laughed🤣🤣

Well he is out at his Sisters now after popping home earlier😊

Weve just been chilling out today and Bobby is getting the Chinese BBQ honey ribs soon and whatever rice we are having.

We are probably going to all watch Star Trek tonight, us girls all agree we like watching that, even Thea. She says its got action, suspense and special effects and is not gory or too rude for her to view😯🤭

Maybe some popcorn as well later😊

Well one of you lazy girls can come with me, you've all just been lolling around in bed today, unless you want me to deligate😊

Don’t worry, Hanna, Tania just wants to see what it’s like travelling around on a recycling truck. Although she likes Bobby as a friend, she’s not interested in him “that way” 😁. She wouldn’t try and steal him away from Coco and Thea and Buffy.

Well I'm afraid Coco doesn't even get up till Midday most days, so she wouldn't even make the start time of 5.45am

But bless her she stays awake to make sure everyone is getting to sleep okay and no one has bad dreams, she normally goes to sleep at around 4am in the morning. She considers it her role in our household

My ladies know I'm friendly with Jeds girls, they are like an extended family. They also know i have a man - Crush on Jemma and Cindy, but its all done in good fun😆

But then again i like Lady-J too and Tex's girls 🤭 normally my girls just giggle when i try and charm a doll lady and all say

" Hes off on one again that Prince Charming 🤭 "

Yes another late one today and we are all hiding from Bobby's Nephew under his Duvet and in his Cupboard, don't tell him😯

Later we will be out and about, when his Nephew departs, i get to hide under the duvet, but the other two are in the cupboard, with a torch🤭 unfortunately his Nephew is still a bit immature for his age and wouldn't understand about us

Well to be honest there was barely room for Coco and Buffy in the Cupboard. He has some bags of Christmas wrapping paper in there too, from about 3/4 years ago, good job they are Plushie girls and not TPE ladies 🤣🤣

Morning,

Bobby's Sister is not well today, she has caught a bad cold, so Bobby won't be helping her with her shopping today😯

Bobby is waiting for his reference to come through from his last company that went into receivership nearly 3 years ago. He has to give his new employer a work reference and they won't except Character references. He was at his last job for almost 18 years and a lot of the places he used to work have closed too, so he is kind of relying on that reference😯

Anyway its time for ☕ cherio for now👋

Yes late today, as Bobby has been doing a lot of searches on his internet and making phone calls to try and chase a reference up from the Recievership company who took over his retail company when it went into administration. Its frustrating and hard work, just to get a reference.

Coco said she would give him a glowing reference, but i don't think that will cut it, do you folks? 🤔🤣🤣 Anyway it has to be a work reference and all they can do is give him a basic one, just to say he worked there, nothing about him personally, his time keeping, or what his work ethic was like, etc.

Anyway cheesy beans and fish fingers for dinner, we all fancied baked beans this week instesd of flavoured rice and its one of our 5 a day, so must be good. I don't know what the other 4 things are that we are supposed to eat though. We do have a cherry pie, well it has fruit in it🤣🤣 or pie filling🤔


Anyway more Star Trek Enterprise tonight and we all love that, then Strange New Worlds, we don't have streaming channels for that one, but have season one and two on boxsets. then the original series, unless theres any decent movies on TV or on at Christmas, but mainly xmas TV is crap🤣🤣🤣

Morning,

Yes Bobby was busy yesterday on his phone trying to chase up references. They want two work references, not just one. The problem is that most of his companies don't exist anymore, they were small companies.

He has payslips from his last job and his redundancy documents, and at least four or five letters from companies in the past offering him postions and he has offered to go into HR and let them have copies, but this doesn't seem good enough. Their offices are only 10 minutes away.

They sent him an official letter offering him the job, yesterday, but it said if the reference check was okay and his background check, i mean its like trying to get a job at MI6 😯 well Sean Connery worked on the bins!

They won't even accept character references from professional people like his Fedcap Colleagues at Guildford. Anyway its ☕ time 👍

Yes I wanted character references from Sir Alan Sugar before going on the UK (The Apprentice).
But all he could come up with was a old school report with jam all over it:confused:, and really it was shocking:(, so I don't think you need the worry to much Bobby, Lady-J (y)

Well Lady-J he can't start the Job, until he sorts his references out. His new employer is very strict on references 😯

Well Lady-J I'm afraid my Employer isn't going to have much luck. I checked the Law out. Companies are only required to keep staff records for 6 years and then distroy them due to Data Protection Laws.

I was at my last job for 18 years, with a small break in between when they disbanded the night team as they said they couldn't afford to pay unsocial hour rates to staff.

Then they asked me to come back and work late afternoons/evenings for them for around 5 years, until they went into recievership back in 2023.

So if they withhold the job now there will be repercussions from my end, to be honest Lady-J im getting a bit fed up trying to chase up companies, so i can let my new employer know who they can contact for a reference
