UPS deliveries and other couriers

I sent a girl from Plymouth to London on Mon 8th as she wanted it by Fri 12th. Left here with 2 labels one on top and one on side got to Exeter and on to Tamworth, what a disaster as a couple days there and no delivery. After getting on to them UPS and ParcelHero I thought they had nicked my girl again(2x) went in for compensation from both of us. On Mon intercom went and could I help him with package, went down and explained that it had to go to London, someone had pulled off side label and finger pulled the top one. I had spare in between cardboard package so it was sent on journey and got stuck at Tamworth again, she sent message to say it was too heavy so been stuck at Tamworth and she's just as p****D off as I am. So yesterday I had to wait to see if moved as I would have to send the other later today if it didn't, luckily it got there 10.13 today. The amount of stress idiots put you through just to move a box! Don't forget if you send a box with insurance make sure you include the delivery costs. While this was going on I had family bereavement at weekend. I hope nobody else comes across this sort of crap

Yea, delivery services aren't what they once were. When I had items to deliver for my business, the last few years I have got them in the car and hand delivered them all over the midlands. Luckily for me, this year I don't have items to deliver anymore as it's all software now.

Only fortnight ago order from Lovehoney they sent it via Evri , but once they had it they returned it to Lovehoney as Evri say I’m under 18 , so I told Lovehoney to stick it and return the money , bear in mind I’ve had 2 Teddy Babes along with other stuff from LH .
For parcels I would say stick to Royal Mail

My Evri blokes excellent, Yodel ok only problem I get is RMail small parcels as our usual doesn't like to walk up to 3rd/top floor. He will want me to come down to pick it up. He Def don't like to take up bigger parcels. If I could drive I'd love his job

Thats crazy, didnt Evri phone you or check? I thought you had to be over 18 to order from LH anyway. Royal mail are not good around our area, especially with parcels. My Sister is missing her subscription for her cat of flea and worm stuff. The vet sends it out via Royal Mail.

Sometimes i even get stuff tracked 24/48 hours delivery and it turns up late

What business is it of there's anyway if your 18 or not. If they have to check on the doorstep then thats one thing, but just not delivering it is crazy. What a way to lose future business?
As for not wanting to bring to door, that is their job to bring it to the door.

Maybe, but if I were a delivery driver and someone wanted me to hump a 50kg sex doll unaided up multiple flights of stairs I'd be telling them where to stick it (the company that is, not the customer).

They can always ring you and ask for your help? Two is better then one.

UPS have done 2 of mine both have been nightmares, I even try not to use companies that use UPS cuz just too much hassle.. heck I spent daft money ordering from Cloud Climax cuz of their own driver doing delivery which gives real peace of mind though is flipping expensive. last UPS I paid for Saturday delivery, as I would be off work, then failed to ship in time and tried Monday then tried to get me to collect (a 45kg box from 25miles away. pure useless morons. That said I got new doll on order and no doubt it'll be those numbnuts again.

Re - my order from Lovehoney , it didn’t even get to the door step it was done in the Evri office , further more you can’t prove you are over 18 unless you have a credit card ,I don’t , they don’t accept any other card , you can prove your age only if you pay for who’s ever services that you choose to do it for you .

I once used UPS to have a doll sent from Cornwall to me in Yorkshire. Had no problems, delivered in 48 hours.

Fedex were shippers for a WM head coming direct from China. The tracking was awful and they missed 2 delivery days, finally arriving a week after the first. The delay turned out to be customs having a look but despite Fedex knowing this they never changed the tracking or delivery dates. I was working nights at the time and having to stay awake waiting for deliveries when I just wanted to sleep really boiled my piss.

EVRI seem to be generally okay with ordinary deliveries. But I ordered some pocket size dolls from eBay recently and they completely lost the parcel after it had arrived at their main hub. I got a refund from eBay and it was only about £8, but that wasn’t the point, I wanted the dolls.

I have had 2 new dolls delivered by UPS with no problems and sent one to Scotland from Sussex, again no problems.
Have just ordered a new doll so we will see what happens.
When I lived London a few years back UPS delivered at the arranged time and with 2 delivery guys due size and weight of box.
So I guess its luck of the draw

As for small parcels so far no problems with Eri or Royal Mail but I have same regular guys and a porch so nothing nicked yet
