Accelerating to Azrael

When I bought Azrael in May 2022, as with Kim, my photography skills weren't as good as they are now; but they were a lot better than when I started with Kim. However, many were themed differently to how Azrael is presented here, and also some of her backstory was presented more visually. It would be nice to post what was made of her before I joined this forum, so this thread will contain that of her content that I feel can stand by itself or is part of her backstory.

Hey great story. You had some lovely shots in there, loved the one where she is pulling the sword from her back, stood against the chair and holding the sword out straight. Not sure how you did hat, was bad enough getting Willow just to hold a wand!

The sword is a foam replica used by cosplayers at sci-fi conventions and the like; light enough that two pairs of WM articulated fingers can hold it horizontally or one pair vertically.

Announcement concerning the purging by imgur of non-account-linked and 'adult' content.

Nearly all my images are hosted there and while I do mostly have the originals, I've been mulling over a change in focus for some time. Because my girls are sometimes posed together, this means posting them in one or other's threads and it would be unwieldy to have a thread for every combination, especially as there will be another girl arriving at LTHQ in the medium-term future to assist in our defence of the Cosmos against the Forces of Darkness!

However, this forum seems to work with individual subject threads and I've adapted to that way here. So I'll probably continue as before, but hosting new content elsewhere; guess I'll have to learn how to use albums and attachments more fully. Right now, an ongoing issue in Real Life has prevented me from being as active on the forums as I would like; thus, this won't happen right away and you'll see most of my images disappear in May when imgur do this.

So in the meantime. thanks for browsing :thumbs:

No place is safe anymore it seems. The Gallery here is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. But is content even safe here these days?

There seems to be several issues.

• Many image hosts don't want to host adult content at all, as they think it's going to reflect badly on them.
• Many image hosts want to force adverts and thus require an account to host images.
• Many image hosts are afraid of finding images posted on their site that are illegal, were legal when originally posted but now are not due to changes in the law, or where it's not clear if the image is legal.

All of these are probably part of imgur's decision.

In the latter case, as we have seen, the last point is particularly important for forums, whether self-hosted or not. Even if a forum can find a hosting company that allows 'adult' images, the forum must still police itself, especially from images whose legality changes over time due to changes in the Law (or how the Law is interpreted); it can be unclear whether a specific image is legal, due to poor wording of the Law and the ease in which the Law can be flexibly interpreted, especially when challenging something in Court takes ages and costs a fortune even if you win, as Phil has found out.

As long as MLDC has a host that allows 'adult' images and is well moderated we ought to be OK.

Miss K had this concern a while back. She maybe didn't communicate what she wanted to say very well.

Adult content is a challenge especially in the UK.

You need to be very careful.

One could make a rule - no unexposed private parts (i.e. no nipples and no vagina) and then it's just pictures. Really it shouldn't matter how old a doll looks if the picture is not sexual in anyway - it's just a picture.

I will make sure my ladies aren't exposing themselves going forward.

PS @ LT sorry to hear your Imgur images are going to be taken down. Sometimes starting again can be fun though (I've done it a few times.)

I think nudity is OK on the member forums for dolls of appropriate looking age. Nothing explicit outside of the Chilli. The Chilli is going to be much harder to gain access to from now on, you have to be a trusted active member. But nudity I believe "at this point" is fine. Otherwise, where is the art :P
