I would imagine a removeable insert is far more preferable for a number of reasons, but mostly cleaning and the option of trying different makes of insert.
Even with the mask they are a fraction of the price of a Teddy Babe, how they compare though I don't know. I do wonder about the lack of limb movement as compared to the moveable limbs of the Teddy Ba...
