But very comfortable. Not really too different than wearing a bikini.

Balance. We stand, walk, even sit in balance. Without balance, we fall over.

With balance, even us dolls can do some amazing feats.

That's Maisie riding on my back.

Her arms fine tuning the balance.

No props, strings, or photographic trickery. Just me and Maisie doing it the way any human female would.

BTW, We are both TPE with metal skeletons. Eat you heart out, Hanna.

My Dhila, (her name means loose or floppy in Hindi) has no bones at all. She can't stand nor hold a pose on her own. But with a little help, she can manage a very natural look. In the photo below, her hair hides a single prop-rod. 🤫
Very pretty Dhila😉

So is Coco, but she'd probably squeeze you to death, like she did with Jyoti, yes that's one of the major positives about plushie ladies

Sitting is one of the easiest poses for us TPE (and silicone) girls. But observe real ladies sitting. When they know they are being photographed, they will almost always go from slouching back to sitting up. I see far too many of us on these forums leaning back looking very unnatural and unattractive.

Remember in your school days when teachers would get on your case for slouching at your desk? There was a good reason. So now it is up to you to correct your girl's posture when she slouches.

I figured there no better time to show pictures of me and snow than when it has been very hot outside.

But anyway, I great way to make us look natural is have us look out of a window, hand on the glass to help us stand up.

Just Thinking.

You can get a contemplative look without FaceApp or AI simply through the right pose and lighting alone.

If you’re new to doll photography, one of the easiest ways to start is by practicing portraits first. The goal is to make your doll pictures look like real people, not dolls and the face is what viewers notice first. When photographing a whole doll, there’s a lot to think about: posing a rigid skeleton, arranging clothes, controlling lighting, and even staging an activity or action. A doll simply standing or sitting without purpose can look stiff or flat, so learning to capture natural expression and subtle motion is key.

Starting with headshots gives you a logical place to perfect this. Focus on head tilts, gaze direction, and how light falls across the face just like you would with a human subject. Once you achieve good results, you can bring those skills into full-body shots and more complex scenes.

In this portrait, you’re seeing a subject captured with soft, natural light that highlights the contours of the face and gives a gentle glow to the skin. The subject’s head is slightly tilted down, with eyes cast subtly to the side, creating a sense of reflection and depth. The angle emphasizes the cheekbones, jawline, and delicate features, while the glasses frame the eyes, drawing attention to their expressive quality.

The photo was achieved through careful composition and subtle posing: the camera is slightly above eye level, the head tilt adds dimension, and the gaze averted from the lens enhances a cinematic, introspective feel. The result is a portrait that feels both artistic and natural, showing how light, angle, and expression work together to create mood and personality.

Practicing this kind of controlled lighting and subtle posing first makes it much easier to stage full-body shots later, so your dolls can look like real people, even when they’re standing, sitting, or in action.
