Some Advice

I was interested to see Phil's dispute and the Court case about a particular doll today.

What I dont understand is about the height of a Doll. I cant find anything on the internet in Law about the height of a doll, only the doll having childlike features. Does anyone know if the height is written in Law?

I have seen several mature ( over 18 looking ladies that are around 3Ft ) They have mature bodies and big breasts. So they cant be classed as childlike.

I can understand the childlike situation and Law, but not the height restrictions. As I dont have a lot of space in my maisonette, so a smaller doll would be a lot better, less heavier and easier to put away from prying eyes in my situation.

If anyone knows anything more about this subject, please feel free to jump in, especially if they have a link to the actual written law about the Height.

This doll would be banned in Austria. Anything less than 150 cm is a punishable offense.
The face wouldn't be a problem.

Hi Maro, yeah I understand what you are saying, but where is the written law about height restrictions on Dolls?

Have you seen any for your Country? I know there is a law about a doll looking childlike, which is understandable

I mean do Border Force measure the size of the Doll when they open the box at Border control to check its height?

And then convescate it based on it being under the proper height restrictions?

The border control checks how big the dolls are.
The shop where I bought Denise also says please don't buy dolls under 150 cm. In this shop the smallest doll is 165cm.

I can't say anything to you. I don't know what the laws are in England.

In my opinion, unfortunately it is not described in detail anywhere. (just stupid)
So the customer has to take a risk or not...

I thought that too. Every seller gives a warning, but if you want to see it in writing, you won't find it !

I know strange isnt it. So who came out with it in the first place and told the Doll Maufacturers and then the Forums.

They should of just said to the manufacturers you cannot sell any childlike doll or export it. If the doll looks over 18 that's fine, even if it's a smaller looking doll. But we expect the doll to have an adult body, not a childs

To me it seems very unfair for those who may struggle to lift a full size lady or have limited space.

I have seen some guys selling dolls, because they just cant lift them. I mean I have a big bedroom, but limited space around the rest of the maisonette where i live.

Mr Bobby , it is illegal to import a doll of the size in-question ?
But not illegal to own one in UK … at present .

Bobby you can buy a short torso with a head and nice boobies , then a couple of weeks later buy a set of legs and there you have it they must be ok as Luciddoll list them 👍

Well Carly I saw a nice Torso doll on Phil's The Doll House site full body, full arms and a pretty face, not a pretty price though at £1, 500 pounds, but I guess if you want quality you have to pay for it. She weighed 26KG

But he does have some nice ladies on his site and he is UK based, so I wouldnt have to worry😁
