Got the second job done yesterday, and now the whole week on the computer. Last of the three is next week, and the a few weeks off. I really need to get some photos done between working and writing the novel.

My daughter and I went for a carvery at the weekend. I love Carveries!

I got a shock yesterday while bringing shopping in. Suddenly a cloud of wasps appeared from know where, hundreds, even thousands of them. I had to slam the door closed so they couldn't get in! They disappeared as quickly as they came! Scary stuff. 🐝🐝🐝🐝

Yea, they were only normal size as I saw one or two on the window of the door, luckily on the outside! I think they were more likely bees, here is what I found out from Gemini:

Honey bee swarm:

• Large, docile mass of bees (around 12,000 to 30,000 bees)
• Usually golden brown in color
• Not interested in stinging unless provoked
• Often seen hanging from branches or other objects

Only these ones were all hovering about. I think they were more golden than bright yellow, so bees. Wish I'd recorded them on video, but they were only there for a minute or so before they had moved on down the street. Every single one of them, when I stepped out again, there were none lingering around.

It was a far as I ever want to go into Wales, with all it stupid speed cameras everywhere, hidden speed limits so they can fine you and silly 20pmg. Was glad when we got out of there when finished. Got home after 2am!

It’s a pain in the proverbial! Many signs have been painted over, either with a 3 to make it 30 mph or just blotted out altogether. 38 million quid spent on this - utterly ridiculous. Understandable perhaps in very built up areas where there’s a lot of pedestrians (it was meant to be a kind of preparation for when all cars electric and you can’t hear them) but some areas reduced to 20mph are just mad.

You can still hear electric cars just as good as modern petrol, as modern cars are quiet too at low speed. It's the tyres on the tarmac that make all the noise. Not to mention the silly whirling EVs make, that comes from a speaker at low speeds. Mine sounds like a spaceship!

I don’t get the flu so I don’t think it's covid. I been taking Paracetamols all day, so the headache and eye strain has eased a little. I am now staring at the computer screen again. I have getting a little sleep too. Not a productive day though :(

Went with the missus today to have a look at a Tesla…. and only gone and bought it. It will be home with me on Thursday evening. :D

I think Tesla is the way to go with their charging network.

Strangely, I've been tempted by a Model 3 now there's a good choice in the secondhand market. There is massive appeal in not paying road tax or fuel tax.

This side of the pond, most states charge more to register EV's to recover lost petrol tax and it costs more to insure them.

It's been delayed as they waiting a part, noting serious but they wont release the car until it comes. Should be Monday. So a pic after, but they all look alike. Mines a dark grey coloured one. Long range 21 plate.

Yea free insurance comes to an end next in April 2025, then its a wopping £190 a year, robbing bastards.
