Camping with your dolls

I have returned from our foray into the woods!

I ended up bringing Daniel instead of Kani, both because she is TPE which I have learned has a melting point (many thanks for the education) and because the poor dear has suffered a couple of injuries and I now need to be very careful with her. Ya get what ya pay for, as they say 😕

There ended up being three other people there. Two other men and one woman. They are all good friends and know I am a doll collector but we're quite taken a back by how realistic Daniel is. He sat at the table with us while we played DnD and by the end of the first day people were addressing him by name and patting him on the head when they walked by.

By the second night we reached new levels of inebriation previously unknown (unless you go to music festivals 😉) and one person asked to hold him. He's bisexual also and commented,

"he feels like a real man! Why is he kind of hot though?" He had similar compliments for Danny the rest of the trip. He also said I need to get a full size lady so we can shop for pretty clothes for her 😄

I miss the days when the alcohol flowed freely.... 😵‍💫

I'm reaching the end of those days myself haha. Had a wicked hangover the next day but it was worth it. We stayed up until 1am watching Universal Monster movies and laying in an empty field to watch shooting stars. Was a quality vacation.

With my blood pressure it’s all alcohol-free beer/lager etc., for me these days.

Same here... Down to a sip of wine now and then. Did have some leftover rum I was saving, but... 🙄

Well I mainly drink bitter shandy these days by the famous Ben Shaws range.

They also do Root Beer, which I haven't had for years, since Macdonalds stopped serving it in the UK. Don't know if I'd like it nowadays though and you have to buy a 6 pack.

In my youth I used to drink, Guinness, Jack Daniel's and Vodka. I was so drunk I fell asleep on a train once and ended a good few miles from my destination, but to be honest I never handled alcohol well🤣🤣

We wiling be camping next year at Lady J’ and Bobs weekend doll meet , but our tent has not been up for about 25 years , maybe a new one as they don’t cost much and they are easy to use . 🎪
