It is against the law in the UK to import childlike dolls. There are lots of grey areas around this and we in the doll community despair at some of the decisions been made. However, "life sized" dolls that are obviously based on a child, are banned from the site and this is absolute. It doesn't matter if the doll is anatomically correct or not. This is the kind of thing that can affect the whole standing of the site and will be moderated. Anyone posting such pictures could also face an instant IP ban.

Note: From our understanding smaller dolls based on adult females that are over 140cm, with obvious hips and breasts are legel in the UK. These aren't child dolls in the sense of this rule, they are merely small adult women dolls. You'd know a child doll if you saw one, and its these that are not allowed on site.

If in doubt please check with a moderator or Admin.

The Doll House highlights the following...
  1. That if a dolls features are in proportion with that of a mature woman, the size/height has little do with it. (However 140cm seems to the limit to how small a doll can be before its classed as a child doll in the UK)
  2. Facial features are difficult to define as juvenile.
  3. Breast size means nothing. (As long as they are there)

All still a bit vague, but a victory all the less for smaller dolls that are less heavy.
